There's also DVD Audio Extractor. If you just want the regular stereo mix, that will work just fine, as the DVD and HD versions all contain the same lossy Dolby Digital 2-channel audio track. There's also a folded-down-to-stereo version of the high-def lossless 5.1 track floating around on the interwebs.

Hmm, I tried converting again on my end with the latest dBpoweramp "reference" version and it fixed the issue. Maybe it was a problem with the build I had used back in 2008.
