Awww yeah
Awww yeah
Just got my copy, it's much more on the Forse side of things, but pretty different all the same too. I'd definitely say pick it up. If nothing else but because clear vinyl is the best vinyl :P
You can stream 60 second samples of 3 tracks at Boomkat: http://boomkat.com/vinyl/1057760-ale...gatefold-vinyl
My vinyl just arrived, not listened yet though. No download code included for those wondering.
I added it to discogs, anyone know if there's a European vs US pressing? Mine came domestically

Sounds a lot like Lustmord to me haha...
I just bought the album on iTunes and I love it. I want to order the vinyl, but on Forced Exposure only lists the vinyl and CD as a pre-order. Is this a typo.
Then loop the samples to get a fair idea of what the track sounds like in its entirety !
It's not bad, and requires an attentive and fair listening, but well, it's Cortini Does Drone. Which is okay, if you like Cortini and drone. I haven't made up my mind about it yet.
Going to have this album on repeat at work while editing. Really good focus music…Cortini should do a film score.
Yeah, is it just a coincidence due to the kind of bands I like, or is everyone trying his hand at the pseudo-soundtrack album thing ? 65daysofstatic, Reznor, Cortini...* ?
Walking in the streets while listening to it I thought it could be the score to Darren Aronofsky's take on Blade Runner :
amidst clips of Void-Kampf interviews where indistinguishable humans and nexus-6 androids answer random questionnaires, Deckard contemplates the state of the society he lives in as he files his report. Meanwhile, his wife is leaving him clues hinting that she may be an android too. So does his neighbour, the sushi vendor, the mailman, his mom, and maybe himself.**
* : I'm aware that's hardly everyone...
** : Don't get me wrong, I'd watch the hell out of that movie.

In retrospect, it feels like the 'opening set' from Japan shows were actually live performances of the sonno album. I instantly recognized some of the loops there...
Mine arrived too.
Fuck, it's sealed. I don't wanna open it, but would like to know the colour of the discs...
This guy just wants to keep me in the poor house.
Ally will return to Europe next summer. At least he wrote that to me: https://twitter.com/blindoldfreak/st...00222536028160
Alessandro is also playing the Decibel electronic music festival in Seattle, WA over Sept 24-28.
Not sure if he'll be playing a mixture of all the projects he's done or just his most recent solo stuff but looks like he's keeping busy now that NIN is done touring.

Here's my review.
Better late than never.
A review of Alessandro Cortini's Sonno.
Cheers paul, always enjoy your reviews. Some of your coil ones were better experiences than the albums.
New Sonoio!

YUSSSS. Yeah, yesterday Ally posted a quick "hi!" on the SONOIO Facebook page. I suspected that might mean we'd see some new stuff in the near future, but this, the day after, is a pleasant surprise
I've been on a pretty massive SONOIO and modwheel kick the past couple weeks.
Ahhhhh! Yesss, so exciting!!
Three years late better than never! :P
New track "Thanks For Calling" released:

Music Video:
Reminds me a bit of "Kill List" near the end.
A real grower, love it! Time for a new album!
I like the song but I'm not sure about Ally's the vocals on this track. For some reason, it reminds me of Morrissey.
