Wow, hate to say “that’s it?” but is that all that happened? Four songs... and a Q&A or something?

    Was Maynard even there?

Thats what these Museum shows always are (as Toadflax mentioned previously) and we actually got more song than I was expecting (they usually do 3-5). Of course Maynard was there.

Hour long interview with Maynard and Billy, and then the rest of the band came out for the music.

Obviously, Maynard’s been doing plenty of long form interviews over the past few years, but I don’t know that I’ve seen any with an audience, so it was cool to be part of a small audience for that.

Yeah and I was relieved they didn’t take any audience questions cause you never know what you’re gonna get with this fan base.

am I the only one who thought the guy doing the Q&A was kinda kind of a jerk? I kept doing the "uh huh" and "mhmm" when the guys were responding. I also felt like some of his questions were weirdly worded and notice Billy looked at Maynard a few times as if he was thinking "what the fuck is up with this one?"

I had a blast hanging out with VN....I mean @Jaimie and it was nice to finally meet @RJK !

I think Maynard was inferring they'd be playing it on the upcoming tour.

    Orestes was life changing

I find that a lot in interviews like this. Instead of listening and responding to what the person says and letting the conversation evolve organically, they just wait for them to be done talking and move on to the next question without acknowledging what they said.

It also drives me nuts when interviewers say, "Talk about...," instead of asking a question. Like it's a command.

I think it’s a weird holdover from Journalism 101 “ask open-ended questions” and “active listening” exercises. Personally, my biggest beef is when a journalist asks a close-ended question and then gets huffy when the interviewee gives a one word answer.

I really like how “Eat The Elephant” and “Get The Lead Out” bookend the album with songs about getting started, getting some momentum going, and working toward a goal.

I couldn't find any decent seats for the Anaheim show. Finally decided to go to the Vegas show.

Apparently, APC will be releasing a RSD-exclusive 7" single for So Long and Thanks for All the Fish this year. It's b-side is an ACDC cover.

In their defense, they've never really done traditional b-sides. Just demos and live stuff, so even a cover is pretty shocking honestly.

it's the song they've been playing live a lot this year, so why not. Perfectly reasonable.

I can’t depend on having the money to pay for the single yet (I LOVE So Long...) either way I hope the b-side gets out. Sounds fun.

    https://www.alternativenation.net/a-...h-scott-stapp/

APC plays a show with Scott stapp, and a lot of the crowd left early.
I assumed that Stapp was somehow headlining and people left after APC, but it's THE OTHER WAY AROUND. This is fucking baffling.
People watched Puddle of Mudd and Scott Stapp and then left before APC came on.

This is extremely embarrassing to me as a texan, and it speaks to why Cruz is leading Beto in the polls.

Oh I would put zero weight into anything published on that garbage website. They are notorious for some of the worst clickbait titles I’ve ever seen in my life (sometimes the stories are sourced from quotes by random ass people on Reddit). I was just complaining about them elsewhere and I hate myself for going there to retrieve these but here are a few gems from the past few years...

“A Perfect Circle reveal how they found Trent Reznor bleeding on the floor”

“TOOL reveal what they really think about A Perfect Circles new album”

“A Perfect Circle guitarist reveals why he thought Trent Reznor would fire him”

“Maynard James Keenan reveals why he “can’t stand” certain band mates”

“Maynard James Keenan reveals what he thinks about Smashing Pumpkins reunion”

“Axl Rose reportedly didn’t like Maynard James Keenan for bizarre reason”

“Maynard James Keenan’s bandmate reveals how they “frustrate” each other”

“Maynard James Keenan reveals if new Tool album will come out this summer”

“Maynard James Keenan bandmate reveals why they’re in “panic mode” over new album”

“Bandmate reveals if Maynard James Keenan has written new music with Tool”

So basically, if you see Alternative Nation is the source, do yourself a favor and fucking ignore it.

AHHHH! so THAT'S why the next story was KIM REVEALS IF SOUNDGARDEN WILL REPLACE CHRIS CORNELL, and then the story was about how, at one point, BEFORE BADMOTORFINGER, they had considered hiring a new singer because chris wanted to play drums.

Edit: they REALLY like the word "reveal"
