It's weird how there's been nothing on NIN social media about this.
It's weird how there's been nothing on NIN social media about this.
Trent just said in Discord that they get 45 minutes and they're going on around 10. So either the set times have been changed from what was previously posted, or he's got his times mixed up.
Not expecting much tonight, but you know what they say about beggars, choosers, and shutting the fuck up. Maybe they'll play 'Hurt'!!!
i hope he’s wrong and they’re going on at 8:55. it’s a school night over here.
James Gang on now, so it looks like they blew up the schedule. Probably Black Keys next, then NIN at 10 (like Trent said), then Joe Walsh and the big finale.
Edit: More likely, the box office just had an old schedule. You don't just blow up the order on a whim at the last second.
Im here. It looks like Ilan’s drum set is set up behind James Gang’s equipment. But I’m just excited I don’t know what’s going on anymore!
Wonder what we can expect tonight. Expect some hits for sure, but I’m curious if there will be at least one surprise deep cut. Fingers crossed for DG going on and doing The Idea of You.
I mean...45 minutes is like...what...8 songs? HLAH and Hurt (maybe THTF)...MOTP...
Anyway, if we get a nice, clean performance of 'The Perfect Drug', that'll be fine with me. That goes double for AATCHB.
Made it home in time and was gifted a stream. I’m sure that m0reta is on here, so wanted to say thank you on here too! I’d tag you but idk how to do that.
Well, there goes my hope for a clean set.
*sigh*
Maybe they'll unfuck the replay.
Ugh, this is unlistenable.
are you on hdmi? the sound was fucked for me using an hdmi. i switched to chromcast from chrome on my laptop and it’s fine now.
I wasn’t expecting Heresy tonight. Sick. Also, stay away from those comments on the stream…
My audio was awful the first couple songs. At least it was good for Heresy and we got a good quality version of that.
I definitely could hear the problem with the audio - initially it was worst on Trent's vocals, but after a couple songs the worst part seemed to be Ilan's drums. Unfortunate that it persisted through the whole set, but it didn't bother me personally all that much.
That was a great distillation of the CBI touring cycle, though, especially the middle bit of The Lovers, Less Than, Heresy, and The Perfect Drug. Breaking out Heresy in particular for this show is hilarious. Worth the $20 in my view.
Yeah they clearly gave a great performance but the audio was like two different feeds on top of each other throughout, super distracting and unfortunate. Setlist was:
Wish
March of the Pigs
Piggy
The Lovers
Less Than
Heresy
The Perfect Drug
The Hand That Feeds
Head Like A Hole
Hurt
REALLY hope a clean copy surfaces. I also hope that Frank guy in the stream comments falls down some stairs.
Yeah, it had great choices for a short set.
Pretty sure @ninlive is there. :-D
If you weren't using headphones, it may not have been as apparent. It was definitely there for the whole set though. I checked the waveform on the TS fragments being sent by the server, and the echo is what was being sent, so it was mixed incorrectly at the source. Only for the NIN part.
I forgor about this, but it looks like I saved $20 according to comments about audio quality and the setlist.
I bought a ticket after the stream but I can't even watch it. I guess they are correcting the audio issues (I hope) ?
EDIT : Nope it's not fixed...

Is there any reason NIN have stopped being included in festival live streams? During 2013 festival run there were so many live streams of theirs to go through but I feel like the last one we got was 2017? It absolutely sucks that the audio is cooked on Thai latest show and that it is ppv. It’s such a shame with all these rare songs being played live and we won’t have any pro shot footage.
Watching the NIN set now. Holy shit! They packed plenty into 45 minutes. Band on fire. I really hope that Trent involves all these guys in the future. Hands down best band out there. Weird but cool filming on the webcast, black & white.
