Just got home from my 6th time seeing MUSHROOMHEAD, my second time recording them. Tape turned out alot better than my first one of them, but I don't think im going to be posting it to my YouTube since they covered Princes When Doves Cry. If you want a copy, PM me.
The opening bands looked like they came straight from the local Hot Topic, like Gabriel and the Apocalypse and Hail Sagan. The later did a cover of Epic to a bubble machine and the formers keyboard player stole a page from the NIN live playbook, rocking out on dead keys lolz.
Anyways, saw SEPULTURA and Prong in May, got killer tapes from that one. You know the drill if you want a copy...
Next up is DEVILDRIVER in August, and goddamn MINISTRY/NIN @ Riotfest in ChiTown September 15th hope to see some of you fuckers there!!
Seeing QOTSA this Wednesday! So damn excited, hoping to get reasonably close to the stage this time.
Tool 3x and NIN 3x in THE SAME FUCKING YEAR, with APC twice on top of that.
Am I dreaming or what.
Upcoming:
9/9 Mastodon
9/15 Riot Fest
9/25 The Birthday Massacre

I saw Tycho, Todd Terje and Jaga Jazzist 2 weeks ago. I was mostly excited to see Jaga Jazzist and they didn't disappoint. Todd Terje was great as well. I was a bit disappointed with Tycho. I've seem him/them a few times over the years, but this performance just felt weird. The songs were slower and plodding and lacking energy.
Been a bit of a slow year thus far, only have seen Slowdive, lots coming up though!
Life and Times

Dead Cross
Beck
Toadies/Local H
A Perfect Circle
Hope to see Cloakroom again, might check out Primus and Clutch on tour in a week also
Saw Roger Waters last night in Milwaukee. The only Pink Floyd show I saw was The Wall @Nassau Coliseum, but after going through the fantastic Floyd exhibition at the Victoria & Albert museum in London, I regretted not having seen them again and decided to go see Roger. The show was wonderful; the (huge) band sounded great and the production was cool. Unfortunately, the woman sitting next to me - who was there with her husband and daughter who were both big fans - was incredibly uncomfortable through at least half the show because she's a DT fan and Roger...isn't. (Even before November, Roger was explicitly attacking and mocking DT in his shows. Also, songs like Pigs, Money, and Us & Them are - to borrow a phrase - suddenly very appropriate again). She left early and I relaxed and had a lot more fun.
Others I've seen recently:
Joe Jackson
Garbage/Blondie (with John Doe and Exene)
Norah Jones (another impromptu choice after seeing her Black Hole Sun cover the week CC died)
Upcoming:
Tori Amos
St Vincent
NIN @ Aftershock (and maybe Riotfest too?)
Indigo Girls
Foo Fighters
Arcade Fire April 2018 London and Birmingham, though i may sell the Birmingham ticket, unbelievable how big they are now.
So far I've seen:
U2 @ the Rose Bowl
PIG
NIN
Coming Up:
Metallica
Royal Blood
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
CALJAM '17
Queens @ Red Rocks (Possibly)
U2 (possibly, this time in San Diego)
Depeche Mode

October seems to be the month for Northern California shows that I'll be attending: Arcade Fire, Slowdive, EMA and NIN (Aftershock) all within days of each other. There are several other October shows that I'd consider if I had the time and money.
Hmmm...
I have the opportunity for a show at The Underground in Charlotte, NC a week exactly after HIM plays next door to that venue in November. I'd see Whitechapel, Carnifex, Rings of Saturn and Entheos. I kinda wanna go but not sure haha. Tickets go on sale tomorrow for pre-sale if you got the code and I do. Hm.
lizzo in november. her turnout at treefort was massive, so glad she's coming back to boise.
