Can I get some clarity here. Is it only being shown in IMAX and only on 8/25? I'd really hate to miss out on seeing this on a big screen but I'm 90 minutes from an IMAX and I work until 7pm that night.

They added a 11:30 showing in Austin, currently has 7 of ~250 seats sold which I'm good with since the rest of yeeehaw Texas is all about forgetting COVID is a thing.

So I was unsure whether or not I was going to attend in San Francisco (30 minutes away). However, when I clicked the city link, I was surprised to find listings for other Bay Area IMAX theaters, including my small town of Emeryville and decided to buy tickets. I wonder if other cities have multiple locations besides the main city listed?

As for the running joke: If I can't attend the show, I want to slip on the tears you made me cry...I'll see myself out.

It's possible they'll do an encore showing, but I wouldn't count on it until it's announced.

I JUST watched their St. Vincent thing the other night. Went off beautifully, BUT if you do get tickets pay attention to each and every e-mail they send you. They sort of tucked a link in there and didn't ever refer to it again.

Also, I know we've only heard 18 seconds of this album, but it's sounding A LOT like Halsey singing over NIN.

That's cool. I was expecting it to be a situation where after people bought their IMAX tickets, they were going to announce the movie on digital like a week after the screening, anyway.

Having this as a totally separate digital thing is cool. Presumably, the movie will still come out digitally before long, but this is a nice way to give something special to people who can get tickets while also providing something cool for the people who can't.

Moment House is a streaming-only platform.

From their creator FAQ it sounds like the creator essentially pre-films the content themselves and Moment House acts as a middle man handling ticket sales and the AWS streaming setup. I’d think the creator still owns the content. I’m sure we’ll find out shortly after the performance.

The main St. Vincent performance was pre-taped, but there was a $10 add on Afterparty that was totally live. It was actually longer than the main program. Totally worth it. So there might be a seperate VIP/afterparty/Q&A thing.

It's very similar, but it's not the same riff. The stuff from the IG video sounds like T/A noise to me, especially in the second half where that Swarmatron-esque backing sound comes in.

Yeah, the term “produced” so far for Trent has meant being fairly hands on with playing/writing/etc. It’s not just throwing some beats under an already written track.

For anyone in the Toronto area, if you live close enough/can drive, tickets are still available at the Cineplex Cinemas Vaughn location. I got mine yesterday and there were plenty available. The two downtown Toronto shows were sold out so this is probably it for anyone in the area still dying for tickets.
