I seriously don't understand why so many of you don't like the heat... I'll gladly take the heat over the cold any day of the week. I can't stand wearing pants and jackets.

Because I'm fat but I hardly sweat at all. So when I get super hot, I basically just get dizzy and feel like I'm going to pass out.
And I can always put more layers on. Most places have a limit on what I can take off.
I have allergies and asthma, and we don't just get heat, we get sweltering humidity ... and the mold count shoots up like crazy and my biggest allergy is mold. I'm very fair and I get dizzy and sick in too much heat. The sun is bad for you, at least 5 of my relatives have had skin cancer (2 the very deadly kind), and my grandpa came here from Holland so maybe I am not made for humidity and sun lol.
But I'm a Midwest girl, and one of the best things about that is the change of seasons! All four seasons on the Great Lakes are beautiful.

Currently preparing for back to back hurricanes.....these next few days should be interesting.

^ That looks awesome! I'd love to have that. Canada really needs to start taking a page out of California's books right about now!
In Vic it has been super nice. If I wear pants or a sweater I sweat like a pig. Then I read snow has fallen in the northern parts of B.C and it makes me feel better about paying fuck tones of money in rent for a shitty apartment. Hey, it's unaffordable but at least there isn't snow?
That's why I live in Vancouver my man! No better place to be than the west coast in the Winter... Well, if you're stuck in Canada that is. I'd much rather be in California or Australia during the winter months. The rain is better than the snow anyday of the week, but it still sucks.
If there is one thing on the top of my "most hated things on the planet" list, it's snow. Take it from someone that live in Winnipeg for the first 23 years of their life, I had enough of that shit to last a lifetime.
It got real cold here. I don't think it's been above 60 since Wednesday.
Light snow reported in Chicago today.
After an oddly warm September, the chill has arrived over here.
Chicago looks like it's about to get pounded with thunderstorms. There's a good stretch of it from Illinois out westward heading east.
Pissing it down over here in North West England...
It's mid October and I'm opening all of the windows in the house.

Even though I live in Texas now, and I really don't think I'm going to miss the long long winters of New England, I totally understand this girl's appreciation for all 4 seasons. Pretty articulate for a 10 year old. I would not expect less from a Vermonter

It's ELEVEN degrees outside right now, and the wind chill is currently MINUS SIX.
WTF.
I'm not as bad as above but when I left work at 5 am it was 25 degrees. I dread tomorrow morning at 5 am...it's going to be 18.
This winter will be harsh I bet.
The *high* today will be 18. I don't want to leave the house, ugh. I telecommute, which is nice, except I'm starting to hibernate too much, heh. I get Amazon to deliver everything, my husband brings stuff home ... HELLO, PEAPOD! ;-)
I love snow!!!
I'll take that over two below zero wind chill!!
Fucking beyond cold. I usually like colder weather but today has been ridiculous plus I had to replace 4 light tubes in my garage when I got home from work and it's one of those things I couldn't pull off with gloves so neuropathy plus freezing cold plus wind chill was not great on my hands.
Currently 17 degrees/feels like 6. I feel like this is actually warmer than earlier.

The weather is weird over here. It's apparently 11 degrees out (that's like 50 for your weird scale) but it feels frigging Baltic. The wind chill puts it at 9, which isn't much difference.
Dear LA Weather -
If I wanted gross, disgusting humidity, I'd be in Chicago. Or in a jungle.
DRY HEAT, DAMN YOU!!! GIVE ME BACK MY DRY HEAT!!!
Off the top of my head, this is the worst summer I've ever seen over here. About eight days of warm weather in the last four months. Ugh.
GO FUCK YOURSELF SUMMER.
