Yeah, and it hasn't even rained for a loooong time! Which is odd, January it normally pisses endlessly with no stop! This is a nice change.

It's just been cold, which I can deal with. I just hate the usual rain, so I'm liking this.
I don't mind heat in the summer, I can handle trying to sleep in like 30 degrees or so... in fact, I look forward to it in a way. Friend of mine can't, though. As he puts it "I don't mind cold, cold is like pain and I can deal with pain. Heat is like being sick, though, and I don't deal well with being sick!"

I actually need the weather to be above +20 or I am FREEZING! I like my summers to be between +30-40 degrees... I know, I moved to the wrong city, lol. Vancouver is lucky to crack 30 degrees once a year.

But yeah, I don't like pants or jackets. I like shorts and maybe a longsleeve shirt and that's my perfect outfit, hate wearing hoodys and jackets and 5 shirts just to stay warm.

There are 2 months that I look forward to in the year. July and August. Once they are over and the rain returns I say "damn, only 10 more months til good weather" But 2012 had a pretty nice summer extention well into mid October, so I got to extend my shorts season til then and cut down the "shitty" months. What is it now... end of January, almost February? just 5 more months til good weather! LOL

Snow in Ireland. I expect the economy to collapse again in about two hours.

its cold, cold, so cold, if you drive, you are risking your life. forecasters keep using the word treacherous, why does it have to get so cold in Northern Europe, just want to go to a tropical island. Like Mauritius, or the Seychelles. mmmm.

You're getting much more snow than I will. I'll add to the prayer pile-on for ya. Going to take the brownies out of the oven first!

Governor extended the driving ban . As much as I find this to be a cut on my liberty (rawr), it does keep the idiots off the roads so the roads can get plowed out efficiently. I need to get to the airport on Monday dam it!

This is supposed to hit the midwest tomorrow:

Given the name of this storm, this is totally appropriate:

Very unseasonable at times, but surprisingly pleasant and even warm from time to time. I also love seeing an overcast sky from time to time as well. The snow went away much quicker than I expected it to though.

It's been a little schizo here lately. Just last week it reached up into the upper 70's on Thursday, but by Saturday morning there was some snow on the ground. Looks like it's another cold one tomorrow but the 10-day forecast has it warmer from then on out hopefully. The Weather Channel had it's summer forecast in and it said that temps would be below normal in the areas surrounding the Great Lakes. I'm all for it if we just get highs in the 60's to 70's. Just hope it doesn't rain all season, floods are getting crazy as it is around here.

I'm surprised by how dry it's been here. No rain at all for about two weeks, few heavy showers the last two days but YAY SPRING.

    How's the weather?

A couple of days of hot and humid 90's and New Englanders have moved on from whining about no spring straight to "oh it's soo hot". Be thankful we actually get all 4 seasons. Oh wait, that would require you to pay attention to the world outside. Boston strong my ass.

Maybe I should be in the little things that piss me off thread.

Thunder and lighting are going nuts right now. I legitimately thought somebody was moving furniture around upstairs until I peeked out the window and saw all watery hell breaking loose. Summer in Canada!

You mean all year round in Vancouver!

    Where is summer?
Delayed as usual I see... June is always a garbage month for BC. Here's hoping July starts us off with a bang. This weekend's weather is looking promising! We're in need of some sunshine and warmth!

    Yay Canada Day long weekend!

We usually get a pretty full summer here on the Island, it's just Vancouver & the lower mainland that get drenched 11 months a year. Even last month was pretty damn hot. I guess the shitty June & August weather gets kind of tired bombarding the city all the time so usually doesn't bother to come across the strait.
