I know people tend to dismiss this because of his outlandish behavior but this is a guy who slapped his name on vodka, steaks and even video games has been able to promote his brand without question again look at how he entered the political scene birther movement whenever pressed for facts he always brushed it off with a another time I'll show you when the time is right which surprise he done the same thing with his tax returns. i think, again, think his support do harbor some at very least racist tendencies again I've dealt with a lot of fraud victims most will not even report the crime for fear of being judged because they were duped i feel this is the same for his supporters, i think an hope people are finally waking up to his BS. the whole Helsinki debacle might finally snap some people to their senses.

I read 1984 when I was about 18 and loved it, it was almost reassuring feeling like 'well things can never get that bad' but I think I was just incredibly naive and lucky enough to have a relatively sheltered life in the UK where we didn't really get physically invaded in previous recent wars (except bombs) because we were an island removed from the continent. Now Ive been around a bit and visited Berlin and become a bit more aware and also just aware of propaganda being around us all the time, this book has become terrifyingly realistic - I could see some of the people who watch Breitbart or whatever easily joining in a '2 minutes hate' - you have Trump cosying up to regimes one minute then denouncing them the next, there's a scene in 1984 where a party member actually changes the 'enemy of the state' within an actual speech and everyone just has to 'buy it' and alter all their records straight away - and this is becoming more and more realistic. I think George Orwell really knew the score
