50th Anniversary edition of Larks’ Tongues in Aspic coming in October, with new stereo, surround and Dolby Atmos mixes by Steven Wilson.

The more I think about it that might be the perfect Crimson album, for me. Someone on the old site said that KC were the devils on the shoulders of progressive rock and Pink Floyd the angels. Learning that this was released the same month as Dark Side of the Moon made me realize there was more then an ounce of truth in that perhaps, two extreme examples of English Rock that pushed boundaries with no regard to the easier routes of success, but after something that was as simple as being satisfying enough to themselves and their collective audiences both in Europe and America.

Cancelling Amazon and going with them!
so, i just ordered it (was waiting for my new credit card statement to start) and it says (in my order confirmation e-mail) Backordered. so...i really hope i actually get it. i've only pre-ordered from import CDs once before (placebo vinyl) and it went fine, but i'm a bit worried about this...

on another note, my Radical Action box set came yesterday. i've listened to one and a half CDs worth of it, so far, and it's pretty good. i feel like some of the songs aren't quite as polished/tight as they were on the Toronto recording, and it's really weird hearing a live recording with no audience (still not really sure why they did that), but overall it's not bad. looking forward to watching the blu-ray.
