Finished JJ S2. Liked it, but didn't love it. Some of the subplots could have been handled better, the main plot felt too stretched out, and JJ's stubborn behavior and constant sarcasm actually started to wear on me. Spoiler: The final episode was very strong, and indicative of a positive change in JJ's life, but IMO this should have happened a long time ago (like, at the end of S1).

Also,Spoiler: the episode with ghost Killgrave reminded me of The Joker in Batman: Arkham Knight.

from the second-most-recent episode of SHIELD, daisy's "how are we still fighting nazis today?" comment is just...the way they have used this show to parallel things happening in the real world is amazing and so cathartic.

I heard that if you liked Deadpool, you should not watch that trailer and just wait for the movie but if you don't care about certain spoilers to go ahead and watch.

I have been very skeptical of this movie despite Tom Hardy's involvement, but this REALLY gives me hope!

Hearing its voice in isolation like that is weird. Feels like it should be processed or treated somehow.

The first VENOM teaser left a terrible taste in my mouth. So I went into this trailer with very low expectations. At first I was like "Meh, I don't know if I like there this is going" but by the end of the trailer I was like "Yeah, that's not bad. I think I can get behind this" I'll give it a watch. Looks decent enough. The Venom CGI at the end could maybe use a bit of work, but the character seems like it would be hard to do a live version of justice no matter how hard people try. He's just one of those types of characters that doesn't seem to transition well to a live-action scenario that well.

Very mixed as well, but I love the design. That's what Venom should look like imho and I dig the voice as well. Yet, as someone who hasn't read any Venom comics, this looks more like a cinema version of the Prototype or the Darkness games, doesn't it?

I do like the Venom design in the poster (and trailer) but it does look a shade fan made. Also certain aspects of the trailer have a very 2005 superhero film feel. I do hope it's a good, R-rated, gory Venom movie...but then i remember it's Sony...then again i used to think that about Fox until Deadpool and Logan.

A chance i will give this.
