the new Sun Kil Moon song "He's Bad" is fucking hilarious. Jesus, thank you Mark

Been into them a lot recently, more than I have in a long time. I posted this video probably 10-15 pages back. Still in active playlists. Love this fucking video too. Extremely creative, as much as I said last time. Even if not a fan of the band, the PTSD horrors message along with the eye damage through time and presentation overall makes it powerful. I encourage anyone to watch. \m/
Fuck. Yes.
"A star is out ...i will not touch you i'm just a man"
Fucking Kenny Everett made me listen to this song.
Trap Them should be this huge, super popular band in heavy music, and they're not. damn shame.
By far their most underrated.
why did it take me 23 years to hear this?
say what you will about AFI, but this album is amazing.
i could never get into their super early stuff (just not that interesting to me), but black sails in the sunset is pretty good, and the art of drowning is fantastic. then comes this record that takes the band in a new, gothier direction, it's well-produced, and other than "girl's not grey", every song on it is honestly fantastic. i even have the special book edition that came with a DVD.
then they put out a few shitty albums and i was really disappointed. it's like the same thing that happened to incubus (though they started out way better); as soon as they reached the pinnacle of their creative output, everything afterwards went to shit.
i love that record. i was just geeking out over it like two days ago.
the first two tracks are transcendent.
I've been listening to a lot of Hedgehog, an indie rock band from Beijing. All of their albums are excellent.

Bit unusual ....but a recording of the gun battle/bank robbery scene ....from the movie Heat (1995) with Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino.
It sounds like Industrial noise...its some of the best sound design in cinema ever...its exhillirating to listen too. I think it won an Oscar.
Sound of it reminds me of the 1980s British industrial band called Whitehouse.
"Just 'cause you feel it, doesn't mean it's there."
shameless self-promotion!
my new album is out now on my bandcamp page and i'm REALLY proud of it!
New Avalanches album, Wildflowers, is one of the best hip hop/DJ albums in years. Its meticulously layered and just feels fun. Great follow-up to Since I Left You.
