I'm trying to get people to share their media libraries on Plex.
If you have a digital media library of any kind, and use roku, fire tv, or anything like that, please look into it!

You can add friends like facebook and access each other's libraries.
There are three of us connected so far, and it's pretty bad ass.

One of us has the nin stuff, one of us has the movies, one of us has the audiobooks...

you can see where the more people connect, the cooler it will be.

edit: sorry if this seems like spam :/

i just really wanna get you guys involved in this.

    edit: here is the link

Man, that Terminator trailer has absolutely demolished any smidgen of interest in this movie for me. The whole thing seems horrendously unimaginative!

I blame Jai Courtney. He is a charisma vacuum. He pretty much is something that will ruin things like that Die Hard movie.

I have a bigger problem with Emilia Clarke. She does nothing for me on Game of Thrones (though to be fair, her character is of no interest to me), and I'm still butthurt that she beat out Brie Larson (one of my favs) for the role. And of course, Linda Hamilton is irreplaceable.

That said, the trailer made it look more cool and interesting than I was expecting. Arnie is always a welcome addition.

I'd like to think it will be good since James Cameron lightly advised it, but any Terminator movie without Cameron in the director's chair has the odds firmly stacked against it.

And Jai Courtney. Every time I see him, I want to like him. The only time he's really worked for me is in Jack Reacher... and he plays a motherfucker in that movie.

Its only a trailer, but the whole thing feels a bit too safe, from the shot compositions to the lighting to, well, everything. I think the choice of Alan Taylor was to get a dependable pro that can get the job done, but I think if they went with a more daring choice who can inject his own sensibility into the film it would've made it more distinct. Someone like Neil Blomkamp, Gareth Evans of the Raid films, the guys who directed John Wick, Pete Travis of Dredd, whoever directed Zulu...maybe someone like that, doing good work with lower budget films, could inject more life into the franchise. It worked out with James Gunn and Guardians of the Galaxy. Heck, Joss Whedon was never known as a blockbuster film director before he did the Avengers.

I've seen the first episode, and I liked it well enough. Hopefully it can sustain through a whole season.

Anyway, the trailer looked boring. Whoopty doo, a bus flipping over. Wowee, Arnold said the thing. Hey, slow motion, never seen that before. It all looks like a bunch of modern sci fi action gags crammed sloppily into the corpse of a once-proud franchise. Yeah, I know it was 23 years ago, but T2 still will not be topped by this mess.

But duuuuude, that salto was at least an 8.5!

Anyway, why do I feel like I've seen this movie already?

It seems semi interesting. The thing about this franchise is that it is so beloved that people will mostly give new films a chance to stand up against the first 2... but we all know deep inside the there should only have been the 2 movies.

I do like the idea of them following the plot of the first movie and then it turns out that the past changed from what it was in T1. Poor casting for Sarah Connor... Dragon girl is too pretty and frail looking.

Cameron almost ended 2 in a way that would have nullified any attempt at a sequel. It would have ended with an old Sarah Connor looking at the adult John Connor we see in the beginning, without the scar and playing with his children at the park we see destroyed in the nightmare sequence.

When I first heard about it a while back I thought "what the bloody fuck; is nothing sacred anymore?"; then I heard 2 words: Sam and Rockwell and I was "I'm in".

The PG-13 rating is scaring the living hell out of me though.

I was referring to the 2013 Zulu with Orlando Bloom. I thought it had a grittiness and snap to the action scenes, and the director could do something with something like a Terminator movie. But yeah, the trailer feels rather by-the-books. My expectations for the film are at the level of Alan Taylor's last movie, the Thor sequel: in the 'okay' to 'good' territory, and nothing is going to wow me.

It's not even spelled like that, it's spelled Genisys which is even more wonky, haha.

Now thats how you do a trailer. Didn't spell out the plot, either.

CAN'T FUCKING WAIT FOR 'KNIGHT OF CUPS'!!!!!! Release date please!!

Also, wasn't Rooney Mara supposed to be in it? Not that it's surprising since Malick has a long history of downsizing actors' parts or cutting them completely.

No, Rooney Mara is in the other film that Malick did that was supposed to be called Lawless but it's now untitled at the moment.

That one also has Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, and Cate Blanchett plus Ryan Gosling and Michael Fassbender. Maybe it will come out later in 2015 or 2016 depending on Malick's work method in the editing room.

Has anyone been following the drama surrounding The Interview?

It got dropped by the top 5 theater chains in the US and now Sony is cancelling the release of it next week. The entire thing has been crazy to follow in headlines.
