this is done. Biden has won it. The question is whether or not Trump will concede, and where we go from there.

RE: the fact that Biden is projected to receive the most votes in American history, as @allegro is pointing out, there's a flip-side to that. Trump is going to be #2 it seems.

That's the insane thing. They were right about this silent contingent. The polls were wrong. Trump has way more widespread support than anyone tabulated. He's still going to lose, but that's really not a great thing that he commands that level of popularity, even despite the state we're in. The fact that it's this close is terrifying. We're in for some interesting times.

AND, Trump and the Republican Party managed to institute a HUGE voter registration effort in the midst of a global pandemic, bringing in MASSIVE numbers of new voters. And these new voters are gleefully authoritarian, and fully against this "socialism" thing. They're pushing everything far to the right, and they aren't going away. They're growing in numbers and they're younger and younger.

Just because Trump "lost" does NOT mean he's going away.

He's going to be leading his Kingdom, he and his authoritarian family, from his Twitter feed, from his southern white house, continuing to pull GOP strings.
