    1) excellent album
    2) those speakers...i'm so jealous
    3) do you just have the power amp section of the yamaha running them? if so, you might want to eventually invest in a separate power amp. i have the same yamaha and while all their stuff is great, they're not really powerful enough to properly run big speakers. and if you can find someone selling a used amp with one blown channel, you can use the working channel for the center!

I've had this AVR for about 5 or 6 years connected to my old tower speakers and never had any issues. I THINK these new speakers are even less power hungry than my old ones too, but not positive. Having said that, I do plan on upgrading at some point, as I've got the itch now, but will probably wait until I see some sales as everything sounds good to my ears right now. I was in a rush to upgrade the left and right after upgrading the center and realizing my record listening wasn't benefitting at all from that lol.

hey at least you're not listening in fucking 5- or 7-channel stereo!
i actually put mine in "pure direct" mode when i listen to records so it doesn't even send anything to the sub.

Didn't get a picture of it but bought the Sound & Fury Sturgill Simpson album while out and about on Saturday. The fact that he was able to get his studio pay for an anime is so hilarious to me.

This is a seriously great pressing.

I wasn't sure about buying it because I haven't really listened to much KMFDM in years. Saw they were doing a 20% sale on their site so I decided fuck it, why not? Glad I did. Forgot how good of an album it is and this 45rpm 2LP press sounds beautiful.

i don't think i realized that they reissued "press the eject..." on vinyl! that CD was on constant repeat (along with the CD i burned from my vinyl copy of joy division live at les baines douches) the summer of 2003.

I remember hearing this and just loving it... not sure why it took my 25ish years to pick it up though... but since I'm on a quest now to pick up the physical copies of songs I've used on mixtapes, this was a good start...

    mixtape: Permanent Midnight Snack

OK I'll high-five if you can assure me you're not one of those fuckin' degenerates that gave my daughter the dope *High-five*

I seriously hope they get around to putting out as much of the catalogue as they can on LP. They were amazing. RIP Dennis

Yep! In 2018 the 4 albums + Eject got the reissue treatment on different colored LPs. Always been a huge fan of the ominous-as-fuck version of Man With The X-Ray Eyes on this thing. I have no idea if they ever even did the song live at the speed at which it appears on Mask.

I may have went crazy the last two weeks. This isn't all I've purchased... Probably have bought about twenty records.

I'm gonna have to get a replacement of Plays Live. There's distortion throughout Not One Of Us and Family Snapshot. The 2020 pressing might just be bad though, read on discogs someone else having the exact same issue, and they said all three replacement copies had the same issues.

haha, yeah its my rain cloud lamp that I made a few months ago (still needs a little bit more filler). I hate bright lights so this works as a softer alternative

Merge Records has a 30% off page that they update every two weeks or so with new titles from their back catalog, including limited edition colored vinyl. Worth checking out!
