I'm only on Valium and Lexapro now, though I'm able to cope without the Valium.

Just weaning off the Lexapro and I'm good to go.

If you have any leftover valium, you know where I am. Haha.

It's Saturday and I'm eating a nice lunch in a cool apartment (while it's blazing hot outside) with the fan on me listening to a podcast. Then I'm going to watch a movie and maybe a show or two. That's about as big as today is going to get, and I'm ok with that. After a very stressful and draining week at work I am totally ok with a very lazy Saturday.

G got REALLY drunk at a James Taylor concert last night (as were 90% of the people there ... a FIGHT actually broke out on the lawn ... I think people started excessively drinking due to the excessive easy listening music) and he got pissed at his iPhone 4S and HURLED it to the ground.

    iPhone 4S now deceased. RIP.

So today we went to the AT&T store and G jumped ship to the Samsung Galaxy S5 (a lot of his work friends have done this). And I liked it so much, I did too. CHRIST, there is a learning curve, here. But, I work with so many Google products, this seems to make a lot more sense. And I hardly ever use my smart phone to CALL anyone. It's fun to have a new gadget to play with. I hadn't realized it'd been FOUR YEARS since our last phone upgrade, wtf.

Now I gotta go find all these apps.

My brain screeched to a halt at "James Taylor concert".

    This small exchange:

ME: Hey! I hope that this message doesn't sound creepy or anything... I just wanted to tell you that I'm really happy for you! You were always so nice to me. I'm just glad that you're successful and seemingly happy. Congrats on the engagement!

HIM: Thank you so much Sarah! That means the world to me. Not to sound creepy either but I always remember you and catch up on your posts and am happy you seem like you're in a great spot you deserve it!!

He was a good friend in middle school and the first year of high school. We did that awkward ARE WE IN A RELATIONSHIP?!?! thing that kids that age do. When I started getting more involved in drugs, we drifted apart. When I had to move away, we lost contact. But when I returned to that town after graduation, we would randomly run into one another all the time. I was strung out, and he would always offer to talk or help with whatever I needed help with. But I wasn't ready at that time.

Oh my god... I never saw that shit before moving to NYC. Now I see it at like every store. I always tell myself to not purchase it, because I'm 100% certain that it will end badly. Eat some for me, thx.

Also, I guess Trader Joe's has like a whole line of cookie/peanut butter combos.

My plan is to get some apples when I'm feeling better, slice one up and dip it into the Biscoff.

Finally eliminated the last tube TV. We needed a hand truck to move the damn thing, while the LCD that's replacing is light enough to toss across the room.

… Not that anyone's planning on flinging it. But it's nice to know we could.
