I'm so old I remember the code to get Minion as a playable character in Twisted Metal II.

John Hill coat will be directing Blood Meridian. Not surprised, I've always felt he would be a perfect choice. Hopes Nick Cave & Warren Ellis will score it.

What are the chance that this doesn't die in pre production like all the other times they attempted to make it?

Not taking you down the same twisted road but this is where I ended up:

    Possible sequel
Initially thought to be the final film in the Ace Ventura franchise due to its poor performance, it was rumored in February 2021 that a new sequel was being developed with Evan Peters being cast as the "son of Ace Ventura".[6] By March 2021, it was officially announced that a direct sequel to the first two films is in development at Amazon Studios, with Pat Casey and Josh Miller, the writers of Sonic the Hedgehog, in which Jim Carrey also starred, serving as writers for the film.[7]

I'm trying to imagine what it looks like when Tom Cruise "furiously" shows you a film.

Probably like that Oprah episode when he was SO IN LOVE, and jumping up and down, and we all wondered what kind of drugs he was on, and then, collectively took a closer look at Scientology?
But in this case, with more urgency and a 100% more anger, I guess?

I pray for a livestream of such a thing. Let Tom furiously show US the movie. I'd go.. $49 for PPV, at least.
    Tom, if you're reading this...

Lol i made this stupid meme regarding that movie just 'cause i figured it would be mocking their precious "manhood".

I can't stand any of these guys and I am almost counting on them coming up with some manufactured outrage over the movie for one reason or another.

I really really think they need to stop looking at the camera for joke beats but otherwise I'm still enjoying the show.

    Response from IMAX's CEO
"I feel sad in a way we can’t accommodate all of them. I know ‘Mission: Impossible’ is going to be a really big movie. Nolan has a special place in Imax’s heart because he uses our cameras and promotes us. It’s not a matter of us saying which we can make more money on. I would hope after ‘Oppenheimer’s’ run, we can bring back ‘Mission.'"

Got hooked on "Silo". Quite good Sci-fi on Apple TV. Rebecca Ferguson stars & turns in her usual fine work.

Just finished episode 6 and yeah it's terrific. How about episode, I wanna say 3? With the broken generator blade. Shit was intense!

Silo's pretty good, yeah. Have any of you read the book, or are you trying to figure out the mystery as the show goes?

Been watching Animal Control on Hulu and it's fine. Those 3/5, 60%, 6.5/10 scores are about right because it's just OK, nothing to be like "man you gotta check this out!" but it's fine. The humor is mostly predictable and the love triangle is very predictable and in general it's just something that I put on after Silo to clear the room and it does that commendably. There are some easter eggs in the show like when Joel McHale's character talks about taking Spanish classes at community college and those are fun but it's just so mild otherwise. Oh the dad who hates spending time with his family? yup. the Angry Loner who has daddy issues? yup. The hot new boss who feels incompetent? yup.

I'm not trying to sell anyone on the show but it's a good enough half-hour comedy if you're missing one of those.

I haven't read the book. I'll probably do it once the series is over.

I saw this trailer before The Flash and it blew me away. I don't know what part of it is getting the frisson going but damn.
