This bootlegg is special because, its the show that Das Modell was played. The only live performance. The quality is c, b- at best. But its still listenable.

personally it's my favorite song of theirs to play live so I got no problem with that.

I don't mind either, it's just that there are so many other songs in their discography that have never even played live before that may be even better. We'll never know.

Totally, but just like NIN with head like a hole they like to close their shows with a good punch. And said bootleg was 1998 so they had not as much to choose from. Unlike now, but I still think it's an extremly good closer for their sets. Can't think of any other song that would be just as good. Stripped was pretty good in that role also, but of course it depends on how you let a song fade out in order to make it work for that setlist spot.

While the MIG shows are one of their bests to date I don't really like Pussy at the end. On the other hand it gave me enough time to already get my jacket before the storm so I could come back an enjoy the closing of the show from the rail without having to worry.

I really would like them to close with roter Sand or even Vergisss uns nicht (!!!) in the future.

Bought a copy of reise, reise off eBay hoping it will contain the black box recording. Got lucky and scored the American version that starts off with the recording.

Now the search goes on for the German version. Keep in mind they took off the recording in 2005.

EDIT: If luck is on my side tonight, I will have a special treat for you guys.

Well,on the American version, the track starts off with the recording. The German prints are the ones you have to rewind.

If you are talking about Reise, Reise, then the American version will have the black box recording start the album off instead of it being hidden before the title track kicks, which is the german version. The hidden item has been removed on the 2005 and on reprints.

If you are referring to album art work, not sure if anything is different. Look for serial on the side of the case. mine is 8000363-02, or from my mexican version, the artwork seems a lighter orange.

I mentioned a few pages back that I had 2 concert tickets for the tacoma washington show next month, but have not recieved any responses yet, so I created an ebay auction for them.

I also included a rare T-shirt and patch as added incentive to my auction. The bidding starts at $10 for 2 tickets, a t-shirt and a patch.

If anyone in the state of Washington or surrounding area is reading this and wants tickets, now is your chance to get them dirt cheap, i'm not looking to make a profit, my girlfriend and I have just decided it's not in or budget to hit this show up, as we will already been seeing the Vancouver show the night before. I spent $75 each, so I would be happy to make SOMETHING back, even if it's $10-20

I just realized that the have yet to announce an opener for the US tour. I hope that they just skip it and just get on stage right away.


Also, I have an extra floor ticket to the tampa show. I am selling at face value. PM me if interested. I will be shopping this around the net, so it might not last since the Tampa date floor is sold out.


EDIT: So yeah, you know that Alter Mann demo from Atchung Wier Kommen? I ripped the live version of it, from that radio made in germany place, so they tag themselves alot on it. Im gonna scour for the bootlegg it comes from before I upload. if I fail, then Ill upload the rip.
