I'm still concerned about how this will play out over the next few weeks, either he fully recovers and it's "i survived, the rest of America can too, it's just a cold" which would be very dangerous, or he dies and i assume Pence comes in but people finally realize how fucking serious it is and finally takes this seriously.

I can't partake in the schadenfreude because I feel it would be disrespectful to those who died from something that could have been prevented so much sooner. All I can say is that when you play with fire you will get burned eventually. Unfortunately, His Imperial Egotisticalness is too malignant of a narcissist to learn the easy way, so he has to learn the hard way. Even then, the lesson probably won't stick. Even if he recovers, he will downplay the severity and will say that because it didn't affect him too badly (regardless of how severe it really is) it really isn't worth shutting down the country and requiring people to wear face masks when outside their own home.

You know, I've struggled with this one. I don't like the man. He ain't my President, he leaves a path of destruction wherever he goes. I really don't want him to die from covid. I hope he suffers from it a lot. He left a nation open to it, not really caring for those under his stewardship......... However, I want him to live and face tax fraud charges and any other criminal acts he's committed. Whether he loses this time round or when he leaves office in another 4 years (hopefully now).

It goes against my fundamental humanist beliefs to hope that Trump dies from COVID-19 but I hope he gets sick enough to possibly learn the error of his ways. Call me a dreamer.
