That starts out remarkably like a Puscifer track. I think this Tweet says it best:

And for when Twitter is dead but ETS lives in:
a nicki minaj stan tweetdecker sampling NIN to make a trap-country song that goes viral among semi-rural whites on a chinese lip-syncing app is the most cyberpunk thing that's happened in years

More Lil Nas X stuff, looks to be a NIN shirt under his jacket.

Not too big of a fan of his song, but after watching him in an interview from Genius, I have to say he seems like a really nice kid and I'm looking forward to what he creates in his future.

Todd Rungdren is starring in a film called 27 Club as a villain, and what I'm assuming is Deaf Ears is on the soundtrack

Apparently Ilan is in a super group and Beatles cover band. Formed in 2017 per my googling, so not exactly breaking news, but I had no idea:

Slightly NIN spotting: the new album from Drab Majesty "Modern Mirror" is out for preorder on Dais Records. It was produced by Josh Eustis and also features appearances by Justin Medal-Johnson - both former NIN members.

I strongly recommend checking out the band if you don't know them already (The Demonstration is one of my favourite albums ever and here's the new single). If you want to continue the discussion there's already a thread for the band.

See, stuff like this is what makes me want to see Trent & Atticus do a stripped down tour with a small orchestra in tow.

If they get their hands on an orchestra for one of the scores, maybe that will push them to do something like that, possibly..

The Fragile is all strings anyway, why not have a hundred violins playing dissonant chords. And then smash them, as percussions, of course.

They actually did for the Gone Girl score.

Really ? I haven't listened to that score hard enough. A full orchestra ?

    PS :

In the case of Gone Girl, it felt organic-y to start. As we started working on it, it felt like it could use the idea of orchestra, so we ended up using an orchestra for bits of it to layer in with what we've done, which was an interesting process
    Well alright then

Was reading through an article about some person infatuated with the Columbine killings and noticed an NIN reference part. Never a great spotting

"entries, which were handwritten on three-hole-punched paper and then captured and uploaded onto a website on March 30 of this year.
Some of the stream of consciousness entries included suicidal riffs with references to the music group Nine Inch Nails among others and featured doodles of firing guns and blood-dripping knives."

If you're short on your Atticus scores, Almost Holy remains one of his best imo

Gary Numan wearing a NIN 2014 tour shirt in the latest Making Music update while brandishing a knife to open a box of equipment that just arrived for the studio:

She actually wrote the lyrics to "Sunspots" on a page.

Setlist auction starting next week, which happens to feature a NIN sheet, to 'benefit programs for young writers'.

So meanwhile I asked the artist responsible for this for a higher quality link, her manager answered, and to sum it up, after a good exchange, it's not really doable just like that, but :

I will ask and try and find out more about this as I take your point and it would be interesting to know more about it.
Thank you for your kind words.
And for how the conversation was going I'm assured this person will try and found out if anything is possible.

Well, that is a haunting way to end that letter.

I always feel bad for artists when stuff like this happens. It isn't their fault when people use their art in this way, but it's got to be upsetting. I know Trent released a statement about "Somewhat Damaged" being used for torture purposes and the dude did NOT seem happy. I wouldn't be either.

Nope, the lyric is pretty clearly "is" said and done.
