When it came back in stock today, you'd think they'd remove the "comes with slipmat" bit if they knowingly had sold out. I just got my order in today, so I'm also trying to convince myself of this at least.

So, do we think that the slip mats are 1 per vinyl ordered, or 1 per order... be it 1 or 2 vinyls? I ordered 2x 12" in hopes of getting a pair of slip mats for the 2 turntables in my DJ setup. Anyone placed an order for 2 in 1 order get them yet, and if so how many slip mats were included?

I am right at the end of hearing AV on vinyl for the first time. It sounds pretty good. All of the new releases seem to have the high end rolled off a good deal, possibly due to how loud and limited the masters are. I have friends' self-made records that have more very high end. It's odd. (I know AV is supposed to sound odd, but this was true for TF too.)

The Background World should be in a museum, somehow. That is all.

Me too, although I'll pass on this now I've seen it, it's not quite what I'm looking for (current fave slipmat design that I'll probably drop for is https://www.dnalounge.com/store/slipmats.html, but I'd pounce on a TDS/Closer style design if one turned up)

Received the package today, and each vinyl was boxed individually with a slipmat per box. Happy!

Yea. I'm pissed I missed it. I literally had it in my cart then went to place the order a day later and it coincided with when firebrand took over and it was no longer available.

I got my copy from Amazon. Did Nin store copies come with the little card inside for download like all the other ones? Mine didn't have it and i want to know if i should return it for one that does. I just didn't want to pay the shipping fee, but i'm too much of a completest not to get one if it does.

Pretty sure that only the Definitive Edition albums include download cards.... not the EPs. (Though the Broken "EP" breaks those rules)

everything but AV has come with a download card (and while broken is technically an EP it's also a definitive edition and not part of the new cycle of EPs )

I have a D/L card for both EPs both different D/L services the latest AV EP is a 'The Sound of Vinyl' card like this one. The NTAE one was a more obscure URL/service.
I guess with the new distribution model for vinyl the service changed.
