I just have to say that Rick tearing down his farm, then wasting gasoline to burn it was the stupidest moment on the show for me. Why would he waste precious gas and wood for symbolism?

I think that was more to decontaminate. He burned his shirt as well because of the blood on it, and burned the farm area because of the infected pigs.

felt like the put the brakes on tonight's episode and let the story start to sink in more. since the jumbled story was my biggest complaint up to this point, imo episode 3 was the best so far.

Last night's episode was great IMO. I never suspected Carol of being the one who burned those folks. So much emotion from everyone last night.

I tuned into talking dead for the first time because I heard Marilyn Manson was being a train wreck and yes he totally was. Rick didn't shoot Shane, dumbass. Lay off the drugs and pay attention, super fan. The best part of watching a little of TD was seeing how they filmed the zombie horde scene with the car.

He had a fake one with a steel rod sticking out in one of the earlier episodes. Now he just has his pants covering it all so you can't see it and is limping.

So Rick is mad at Carol because she made a decision without consulting with the counsel or anyone in the group, who might have objected and possibly stopped her and/or talked her out of it, and his response is to DO THE SAME THING and send her on her way with a car, food, and supplies? What is he going to tell Tyrese? Or Daryl?

I really thought Carol was covering for one of the little girls. Why did that bloody handprint on the doorframe seem so low?

I interpreted it as "saving her life" since Rick specifically mentioned "Tyrese will kill you" (Can't remember the exact quote). Besides, I think it's a little different when she burned two people alive which might say something about her mental state, where Rick would be a little more justified in kicking her out of the group.

And how is a little girl going to drag out two people?

Rick is so mixed up and clueless these days it's sad. His character has become a joke. He really is flying blind now and this whole Carol thing is going to blow that up to epic proportions.

I think it will come out that Carol was in fact covering for Carl.

That actually isn't that far fetched - the show seems to be portraying Carol as colder and colder and her getting with the governor actually seems reasonable. I hate the guy but I saw somewhere he is supposed to show back up mid season (maybe the Rolling Stone article?). I think she lost her heart when her child disappeared and died. When the worst thing you can think of happens to you, what is left but ruthless survival?

Well that episode was pretty good until the last 15 seconds... That was a terrible reveal.
