New thoughtcrimes (Billy Rymer from DEP's band)

And they're finally putting their EP from a couple years ago out on vinyl, along with this new song plus one other.

Even though they are pretty generic, and it brings me right back to my teenage angst days, they still hold some quality songs. This one stuck with me after hearing it for the first time in over ten years.

@Self.Destructive.Pattern all three of the singles they've released for the new album are rad.

Song is okay, but I'll definitely wait for the album. I doubt they'll ever reach Abducted again, for me..

But since I'm already here I'll leave something that was released 30 years ago this month and every.fucking.one feeling at home in this thread should hopefully know:

No I haven’t logged onto there since this dropped. I took a glance and they got slime cool stuff. I may. I don’t own any physical items from Hypocrisy or Pain so not sure if I should start or not here.

    The song is solid.

The new Spiritbox album is FIIIINALLY out and it was 1000% worth the wait. Does not disappoint at all and honestly kind of exceeds expectations. New Employed To Serve album is an absolute barn burner as well. Some really good metal out this week, my dudes.

downloading the Spiritbox, A Place To Bury Strangers, Carcass, Aborted & Employed To Serve as we speak. Lots of great new music. this new ETID track is rad too:

saw Gatecreeper open for Knocked Loose Tuesday. Just crushingly heavy. Strong Obituary vibes at time. Still have a good sense of humor though which makes sense if you follow them on social media.

I noticed Knocked Loose's crowd is getting even younger, more female and distinctly less hardcore, but who cares bc they still leveled the place.

Can't wait to see the hilarious make up of the crowd for their East Stroudsburg PA show with Gojira next month.

Just finished my first listen to Spiritbox's Eternal Blue. Track sequencing is a bit baffling to me, but it's a strong release. A lot of great parts which could have been used more or emphasized in different ways.

ETA the new Employed to Serve is outstanding. Wasn't a fan of the singles and they betray the rest of the album. Might be their best release yet.

@october_midnight you weren't kidding. This Fronterier record is DENSE. Definitely more of the same, though, which is fine. I don't think there's much room for experimentation for them.

The new Blood Youth album is decent. If you like Slipknot (particularly Iowa), you'll likely enjoy it even more. It sounds like it's comprised of songs from the Iowa sessions that never got released.

I wanna order the vinyl, but shipping from their bandcamp store is so expensive to the US. Is there a US based store to order it from?

Not that I know of and shipping is a fucking nightmare with them. I bought one of the vinyl variants of Unloved and it took like 3 months to arrive.

With shipping and tax it would cost me $76.50 to get the album. Fuck that.

I feel like Unloved was around that much as well and it just wasn't worth it at all. Your best bet would be waiting until it shows up on Discogs, likely for a bit of a premium.

Based on the cost of their older albums on discogs, it would cost even more money then. Guess I'll just have to live without it.
