I really hope the exhibit stays open for a while. I would love to fly out and go to the museum, but I don't see that happening til next year...maybe.
I just got into a YouTube wormhole, and somehow ended up watching the Cure at the RnR HOF from last year, and man... makes me so angry that Trent is getting scammed this year.
He deserves the whole presentation with a live audience. I would have loved to have seen that. Would have been something magical...
Oh well. Cool exhibit.

Initially I was indifferent but the more I see the more I like it. Very kinetic and they absolutely nailed the lighting...they effectively created three different figures. Well done, @kraw and team.
Looks awesome! The shadows are perfect - instantly recognisable as TR's.
The more I look at it, the more I realize the stance of the mannequin is fucking spot on. Even from afar you can tell it's Trent just from the way its standing.
So i came privy to some Hi-Res photos taken by the Rock and Roll HOF staff. I thought I'd share these with the forum.
It's a public link right now off my google drive until i can find a more permanent home for them.

Hope you all enjoy them!
I hadn't made the connection until just now but this seems to be the reference material.

The lighting is so damn right: The shadows it casts makes it seem like Trent is actually performing. Love it!
The shadows are everything.
Does the mannequin come alive at night?
God damn this looks awesome
Where do the boys lie?
Mud, mud, mud
How does the grass grow?
Blood, blood, blood

I find it interesting that an old Trent interview stated that the mud thing was an improvised natural thing and here it's presented as a calculated idea.
i bet it was both. usually it was corn starch, but the mud was everywhere that day. seems easy and authentic enough.

Isn't there a series of pictures of the mud fight before they went on stage?
Atticus, Robin, Danny, Chris, Ilan, and Alessandro will be inducted alongside Trent

I think that's pretty cool! Though NIN is technically just Trent and Atticus I think the other guys are integral members of the band.
That is AWESOME news! So psyched for those guys. They deserve it.
That's great but kinda too selective. Charlie, Jerome, Richard and Josh Fucking Freese all deserve to be there too. Or just Charlie at the very least, who did TONS of contributions to both studio and live music

I think they captured all the right members all though a great case could be made to Charlie, as the article mentioned. I personally would add him to the list as he was pretty instrumental during the mid-to late 90s but overall the essence of what NIN is\was live is captured with these musicians.
