Also, to echo Jinsai's earlier post on the last page: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/...nkie_rant.html

Mustaine is such a fucking idiot...
Yes because it is all the Government and Obama's fault that a snack cake factory and business has gone under when there are several cheaper, knock-offs making the same items and a health kick for people's diets abound that are to blame. Idiotic.

I know this isn't a random bitch thread but I find the new outcry and support for Hostess and Twinkies after their closing to be appalling. Never heard such fandom or anyone giving a shit before hand. eBay auctions for overpriced Hostess items? Please.

^ Ugh, who allowed this album to be recorded?

The Disturbed cover is waaaaaaay better, at least they didn't try to be "funny"

My "favourite" thing about this is the added swearing. "This is the shit I could do without, fuck on!" Amazing.

I guess if you're going to butcher a good song you may as well make it funny. That Disturbed version is terrible AND bland.

Really don't get this "cloud rap" shit. aka A$AP Rocky, Lil B, Clams Casino... shit like that. Honestly the description sounds okay on paper - "ethereal, dreamlike beats (which often use wordless vocal samples, wherein singers harmonize or hold long notes, to produce a majestic effect) and abstracted, sometimes deliberately absurd, lyrics. Cloud Rap producers often rely on unconventional sample sources, incorporating elements from Indie, Experimental, and Ambient songs into their beats" - but it all sounds like shit to me.

That's awful and the thumbnail to the video sums it up for a perfect stereotype: rapper with booze (champagne!!!!1!) and a woman's ass in a thong in the background. Classic.

Baffling how such a bunch of technically talented musicians can turn out such crap. They've basically taken Meshuggah's sound and taken a big shit on it.
I like a lot of djent but these guys give the genre a bad name. Also...if you're going to do clean vocals, an actual melody would be preferable to this unremarkable wailing.

^^ I fucking love that song/band/album, I personally think they are one of the better things to come out of the whole "djent" movement.

Well she is engaged to the baffoon so of course this makes sense.

Also Nickelback aside, how is Avril Lavigne relevant? Her last heyday and success was like 2001.
