Man I love Aleessandro Cortini so much. Watching this video reminded me of what a genius he is and how lucky we are to have his music in the world. The orange vinyl of VM is getting a lot of spins in our house.
New collaboration between Alessandro and Daniel Avery

This was good. Daniel Avery had this one banging track he played during CBI 2018 that I loved. I think it was this:
A second song from the collaboration with Daniel Avery has been released.
I'm following allesandro on bandcamp as a human (not artist) which can be interesting, but does he have other presences on there? I'm aware of https://sonoio.bandcamp.com/. Are there others?
Here's his (new?) bandcamp page https://cortini.bandcamp.com/
Thanks. He's one of two artists that I bought the full discography for back on that 24h bandcamp all-fees-to-artists day. The other was KiloWatts https://kilowatts.bandcamp.com/
"Illusion of Time" is really beautiful. That is all.
Cortini Bandcamp shoppers,
A question...
Has anyone bought the Sonoio albums off his Bandcamp? Standard 16 bit or 24 bit? Any of his releases 24 bit on his Bandcamp?
I bought the two live recordings. Nuit noire is 24 bit, Berghain is 16 bit.
So I guess it really depends.
Aside from that, a few days ago Alessandro did an instagram interview with the italian Rumore Magazine. Nothing really new was said, he's staying at home with his cats, his wife thankfully tested negative for covid19, he talked about the music he's listening to, working with Avery in between the NIN dates, videogames, how's life between Italy, LA and Berlin. He also mentioned that he collaborated with someone to create a new type of synth/musical instrument (if I were to guess, this someone might be Mark Verbos but that's just my 2 cents).
Weird I did buy the discography but volume Massimo and others are missing. Goinng to have to investigate further
Edit: hmm. I bought "Full Digital Discography (9 releases)" on march 20. but there's 18 releases on his bandcamp page now. At least 2 were added literally on March 20, I guess after I pushed the button. Volume Massimo is not listed as being so but it wasn't there when I bought the discog. Weird.
It'd be nice if bandcamp would let me top-up the discography (especially if it applied the bulk discount to the new ones) but it seems it won't.

Alessandro is releasing new music on his bandcamp tomorrow May 1st, when bandcamp is waving their fees
It's out https://cortini.bandcamp.com/album/prime-cose
M2 is actually Modular 2, that was played during a RBMA interview a few years ago.
I reached out to AC on Facebook and through Bandcamp about 24bit releases, but didn't get a response. Since today was another Bandcamp waives fees day, I got the new release and all three Forse albums since I just had those in lossy (have the records but didn't feel like recording them). So Forse 1 is 24 bit, but Forse 2 and 3 are 16 bit. Kinda weird since they're all from the same sessions. I see from previous comments that Nuit noire is 24 bit, but I passed on that since I have the tape and recorded it back when it was released.
Here's my AC vinyl collection so far:

Why is Blue by Sonoio missing from Cortini's Bandcamp now.
It's still there. You just have to click the music tab for it to show up.
Oh good.
This is my collection I took a picture of in January 2019. I've added things since but haven't gotten the family back together for a family photo
New music. Alessandro is also donating all the profits to Black Lives Matter for the next week.

I grabbed the whole discography on Friday. Only had 3 albums so at the discount it was a no-brainer. Can't wait to get some time to go through all of it.
