Holy shit, I didn't know that Kim Fowley died.
Son of a bitch.
Leonard Nimoy
He both "lived long" and "prospered".
All hail Galvatron.
I'm torn to shreds.
I'd heard that he'd been checked into the hospital. Really sad.
Can't stop crying.Of my friend, I can only say this: Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most — human.
RIP Mr Nimoy and thank you so much for everything.
Thank you Mr. Spock. We will miss you.
NOOOOO!
Will be missed.

Awful day.
International Space Station astronaut Terry Virts (@AstroTerry) tweeted this image of a Vulcan hand salute from orbit as a tribute to actor Leonard Nimoy, who died on Friday, Feb. 27, 2015.
Nimoy played science officer Mr. Spock in the Star Trek series that served as an inspiration to generations of scientists, engineers and sci-fi fans around the world.
Cape Cod and Boston, Massachusetts, Nimoy's home town, are visible through the station window.

LIVE LONG
AND CONQUER
Albert Maysles
He was a documentary filmmaker who (with his brother David) gave us Gimme Shelter and Grey Gardens.
RIP Albert.
I'll watch those two documentaries over the weekend in his honor, although Gimme Shelter has always creep me out a lot.
The Maysles brothers are geniuses. Grey Gardens is getting a limited theatrical re-release. Damn. I also enjoyed the making-of doc that they did on The Life Aquatic of Steve Zissou though it was quite overwhelming to watch at times due to how big the production was.
