I have no ill will towards RR whatsoever as they have been responsible for way too many of my favorite bands to count over the years, but it IS a little strange they signed with them over Blue Grape, which is run by the ORIGINAL Roadrunner Records team responsible for all those classic albums.

But hey, good for Deafheaven, this is just another genuinely earned step up in their career. I imagine Coheed and Cambria had help in getting them signed since they've been touring with them for well over a year now basically.

RR has Gojira and Trivium on their label, so I have faith. Haha.
