The great thing about being unemployed for so long is my alcohol tolerance is completely shot down to nothing. Picked up a couple of cheap beers and I've got a decent buzz of just one. This pleases me.

I made a big batch of hot toddy but the recipe asked for it to be boiled which I realized as it was happening that I was boiling the alcohol away. I didn't even get buzzed but it was still damn delicious.

Best place to out this I guess but I'm fairly certain I ran into an undercover cop at the bar tonight. I mean you go to a drinking bar and sit with water the whole time and apparently ask dude straight away for rolls then start asking me if I know him? Fucking weird, but they did have a sale on 12'rs of summit at the connected store so it wasn't all bad.

So… I had a pretty good night last night. Party at one of the houses off of campus and it started never got bigger than a group of 10 of us which is what I like. I apparently asked a girl who has a boyfriend (not on campus) if I could stay the night with her, and she just now sent a text saying I could have stayed on her couch… It's all good! Um, I had about two shots of Absolut Peach mixed with Mountain Dew Code Red and about 6 beers (all 7%)… From 930 last night until 4 this morning!

You know it's a funny thing. One day you are mentally marking down everything you drink as a social badge of honour; "I had 8 beers, 7 shots, a glass of wine, a fuckin bottle cap of scope..." and then one day you wake up and find yourself eventually lying about how many drinks you've had to make it seem like it's actually much less than the reality. "Yes (wife, son, daughter, boss, police officer) this is only my 2nd drink" when actually it's your 4th... or 6th... or 10th.
