He's the guy.
Beside his NIN works, I like his Korn stuff as well and 12 Rounds of course. Then the Book of Eli score released... Simply the best music he's ever done. That score is way better then The Social Network in my opinion. I was lucky enough to get a signed CD through http://www.bookofelimusic.com/.
Something that kind of passed by recently was Atticus scored the music for this interactive advert for Mercedes http://www.escapethemap.com/
I loved Atticus' work with Error. It would be great to hear something new from them, but it seems as though they have been on hiatus since 2004 or so.
I do like me some Error. . .
A full Error LP would be amazing. The EP was great but too short.
Eish... Didn't realise he has anything to do with the piece of shit which was "see you on the other side"... Ho hum.
Actually, in fairness everyone's allowed an off day I guess
And I think he did the majority, if not all of their Untitled also. The other producers left, so the band and Atticus redid those songs, then did the rest of the album. So roughly about an album and a half. I liked some of it. His contributions were better than The Matrix, which was just garbage.
And he produced their remix of a Notorious BIG track. No, it's nowhere NEAR as bad as you think.
production on the Victory Remix is crazy. so much cool shit going on.
I love this man.
@Laci
There are a couple of videos there with Atticus and Allen Hughes i've not seen before. Cool stuff, thanks!

He, along with Claudia Sarne (his wife) and Leopold Ross (brother) scored the US remake of Touching Evil - although afaik, that score isn't commercially available.
And there's been rumour (nothing more than rumours perhaps), that he might be programming/mixing a bit on Dr Dre's Detox, as they have mutual friends in the Hughes Brothers.
New photoshoot (this is v. rare)
(totally not a subtle bump)

That Atticus is one handsome devil. I guess with his profile getting ever higher (Oscar winner, Fincher collaborator), he's doing some solo promo work.. (?)
So, I've had Telepathe's debut album in my Amazon cart for weeks now - I like them, not a terribly huge fan or anything - but what really got my attention was the four CD bonus tracks that are listed: remixes by Diplo, Chairlift, The Big Pink, and Atticus Ross. That's a very interesting, potentially awesome group of people doing remixes. Has anyone ever heard Atticus' remix of "Michael"? Seems damn rare.

http://fuckyeahatticusross.tumblr.co...cus-ross-remix - it was NOT easy to bloody get that as the download version was US-only. Damn you regional download marketplaces, damn you.
And the photo is from the same photographer who did Trent's shots for Hollywood Reporter, so maybe he was brought in for TGWTDT promo shots? I don't know of any upcoming work from Atticus other than HTDA, and some vaguely hinted production/programming.
What a fantastic blog, love it
Not sure how you do it, but you're fucking thorough, sheepdean. Thanks for sharing!
Hah, cheers guys - it'd be impossible to run without Tumblr being so lenient on copyright, compared to some blog companies, so you should thank them too :P
Wasn't sure on which thread to write this on, but I was wondering if anyone has any bootleg 12 rounds live recordings?
I remember back in the day they opened for Manson for a bit.
I would LOVE to hear them live once more, but cannot find anything on the web.
Thanks for any help.
sheepdean, do you know of any news concerning unreleased songs by 12 rounds? i know they've released 3 of them a few years ago. also has anyone ever heard any of those songs...:
Sioux 86 was my absolute favourite of those three songs released.
its actually one of fave 12 rounds songs. I would love nothing more to hear the rest of the songs worked on by them, but sadly Ive given up hope.
Very short clips of Dead Man and Sioux 86 were in a movie called Rise: Blood Hunter. Other than those clips, the Pale 3 remix of Just Another Day and nearLY performing Chicane live, the three tracks Claudia and Atticus sent to me to put up on 12rounds.net are all we've gotten from the last album thus far. I also just want to take the time to say that Sheapdean, you're doing an awesome job with FYAR. Great blog and great job keeping up with the post-12 Rounds Ross news!
