yeah, I have tracked many packages through usps and theyl sit for days at a time a a location far from me and then show up the next day. If there is a miss- scna, or someone forgets to scan it at any point, it can throw off the tracking. and lets be honest, I dont think the people in the usps care too much if we get the record on time. to them its another piece of mail in a never ending chain.
Well, shit. I forgot they always do things on pacific time...Dammit Trent, move back to New Orleans so I can get my downloads 3 hrs earlier.
Anyone who pre-ordered on iTunes, check your account. It's already waiting for you to download.
Ehhhhhxcellent. So, I'll know very soon whether to go to sleep or start downloading my audiophile version!
nin.com links are LIVE!
It's downloadable now! Which version should I download? I have an Android Phone that I'll be listening to it from.
So I think everybody who bitched about how long they're going to have to wait that gets their CD tomorrow/today (i.e. Tuesday) needs to come back here and post an apology and tag everyone who told them that USPS tracking is useless.
I'd go so far as to say also everyone who gets them on Wednesday, but I'll settle for just Tuesday.
NIN.com downloads are up BUT DON'T INCLUDE THE BONUS REMIXES!!! BULLSHIT!
So does anybody know how to rip the images from the digital booklet that comes with the iTunes LP copy? Damn those would make some nice wallpapers.
Oh, I can't wait to hear these differences in mixes. Exciting.

Here's another review, not sure if anyone's posted it as of yet.
So far I actually find the audiophile mix a bit lacking. There are a couple parts on the album I've felt were mastered too loud, but scanning through this mix quickly, a lot of it just seems to be missing a certain bite (the beginning of "Satellite" for example), so I may stick with the original mix and just keep a copy of the audiophile mix for the VERY RARE occasions that I am on my really nice stereo equipment.
Fuck yeah, official Hesitation Marks day is here! Downloading my digitals now, can't wait to get my new headphones to check out the Audiophile version.
Yes, so pumped! Just finished downloading and about to listen to it for the first time. I can't believe I made it 3 months without even listening to Came Back Haunted. It was excruciating but will probably make this that much more satisfying.
anyone want to describe the art and liner notes that come with the nin.com download? is there individual track album art? a PDF of the deluxe or standard booklet?
Audiophile Mastered version has another cover art variation, but it's just the digital cover rotated 90 degrees to the left (or 270 degrees to the right if you're weird).
Has it actually been scanned in California on each of those four days? If not, it's probably been in transit, not just sitting on a shelf. USPS "tracking" isn't nearly as good as UPS and they don't do very much scanning. I ship several packages a week and it's not uncommon for them to be scanned only when they're received and when they're delivered, with no updates in between.
This is a good day. So happy to have the official download sitting on my iTunes. Can't wait to try out the audiophile master.
And my eyes are peeled for the Everything remix.
Kind of disappointed that there's no individual track art, but I like the slight change in the art for the audiophile version. Subtle, but nice.
Honestly, I'm not noticing any real differences in the Audiophile master so far. Maybe I'm not listening closely enough, maybe my Sennheisers aren't good enough, but I don't really care either way, because this album is still incredible whether it's being pumped through an early 1900s phonograph or $10,000 speakers.
Actually, Find My Way's percussion seems to be thumping harder in my headphones compared to the leak audio.
Also, if anyone comes across the Autolux remix somewhere, a point in the right direction would be nice. Not a PM, just a post hinting at where it might be.

So, the album went from DR5 on the standard to DR6 on the audiophile. Not terribly impressed.
Audiophile cover (full size) for those who may be interested:

The cover isn't an exact rotation of the standard digital cover - it's also shifted a bit, the easiest way to tell is the matches on the side/bottom.
