I think Koi No Yokan is one of my favorite albums ever. I didn't think it could top Diamond Eyes, which was my favorite Deftones album when it came out, but man. They really outdid themselves here.

I can't wait to see what the unreleased Eros album is gonna sound like.

Frengers by Mew. I think I have found a place for it. It's generally more laid back to what I'm used to from them, but still Mew songwriting. A little reminding of some Sigur Ros at times. I guess I'll keep this album.

I just saw Jane's Addiction last night at the Uproar "Festival". They were really good , but man what a difference without Eric Avery! It's just not the same.

All those records w/o Eric made me realize how under-appreciated he is. It's not the same band that I grew up and fell in love with in my teens.

Eric made a huge difference and left a gigantic void behind. He had a huge role in co-writing the older songs with Perry. I think he even wrote a few by himself. It hasn't been the same. Unfortunately, I seriously doubt we'll get another album with him... Real bummer.

I listen to a lot of video game soundtracks. I've actually been ripping the songs out of the SMTIV game since there's no word on an actual official soundtrack. I do fucking love this OST though.
