^^ Good to see someone else into Brainfeeder stuff. The Thundercat album is great. I'm a big fan of Erykah Badu, seen her live a few times and had no idea that her bassist was Thundercat.
You may be interested in this rather tasty mix of Thundercat material by none other than Flying Lotus (if you don't already have it), here is the link to stream and/or download http://www.brainfeedersite.com/2011/...-flying-lotus/

Solid, I'd completely passed that over actually. Thanks a lot! I'll listen to this right away.
Goth is the new black...
^ I used to adore the Sisters. Vision Thing was a fucking great album. This is the one that ex Sigue Sigue Sputnik bassist Tony James jumped on board for when Sputnik went under. They played a big US tour with this album with Public Enemy as co headliners, Mad!
Time for flame time? I'm one of the 8 people that like(d) this band I'm pretty sure.

i like vision thing a lot and all, but i didn't realise it was this loved! i generally operate in a DJ circle that worships first/floodland and all the early singles. they ignore that record like it never happened. sure, it's trashy, but it's damn fun, in my opinion.
i'm partial to the early singles/b-sides, but this is my favorite album track:
ps- it took me years to appreciate the sisters. didn't care for them much in my early gothling days, but it clicked a few years back and i love it. that said, i still prefer their peers (red lorry yellow lorry, march violets, etc.) over the sisters.
regarding the aforementioned leeds drum machine bands (both of which i prefer to the sisters):
Love this album...
A random mix of 2 Live Crew on Pandora.
Somehow this video had passed me by. Instant classic.
Also very QOTSA feel to it.
Autechre's Exai is probably going to be a regular staple for years. This thing is flawless.
Fantastic song with their newly confirmed lead singer Linkin Park's Chester Bennington.
Gets more and more perfect with every listen.
after years of being obsessed with this album, i'm just now hearing the US mix... and i prefer it?
A buddy just turned my onto the Gallows. So far i have only heard Grey Britain but based on what i have heard I think i could really get into these guys. Which is good because i have been missing some good angst laden punk music lately.
Yeah they are pretty good, I was quite heartened when they achieved a bit of genuine mainstream popularity in the UK. I think the singer has moved on though, which is a shame
ya was just looking into that and his new band is more pop-punk, upbeat etc. His voice sounds good but it's just not the same. Oh well at least they put out some good tunes.
Sunbather
This album is shaping up to be IMMENSE.
practically looped for the last few days:
Decided to give this a go tonite while packing...
