"What Else Do I Need" screams radio rock hit, and I mean that in the best way possible. Just enough chanting too on the album, not overboard.
I remember buying that on CD and then just a few years later seeing a "remastered" version on the store shelf. I bought it and couldn't tell what the difference was at all.
I also saw they recently released the catalog on vinyl. I need a new shelf, apparently.
$1.99 on Discogs, my dude.
on topic:
probably my favorite of the mash up craze. Unless you count The Gray Album, but is that more of a remix?

I've been following Stephen Richard's on Instagram for some time now, and he's been working on a new Taproot album for about 6 years now, literally doing everything on his own, including mastering which he eventually had to send in for finishing touches.
I'm probably the only person on this board that gives a shit about this band, but I cannot help what my ears like to hear, and he was always the most interesting member of the band, and his voice here is just amazing. This song got me through a lot of hard times when Our Long Road Home was released, and damn is it a tear jerker.
I don't necessarily care about Taproot, but I was into them during their heyday.
the FAR better version of this song.
