Just found this artist today so i'm still very undecided about me going to like and remember her music for a long time, or just going to listen to it while it lasts:
The new Spiritualized record has leaked. So sad....
So I guess this group Boy Harsher will be opening for NIN in 2022. If the rest of their music sounds anything like this, sign me up!
A co-worker turned me onto a local band a couple weeks ago. I've been listening to their stuff quite a bit and it's all really good stuff, yeah? So last week I found out they're going to be playing a live show sometime this month and I mentioned it to him and that a local radio station is giving away tickets. He said he'd like to try to win the tickets but that was about it. Just excited about the possibility of a live show for an up-and-coming.
So then a couple days later we were talking about it again and he proceeded to tell me about how he's got a tertiary gig as a Lester-Bangs-type for online blogs and that he's he's been listening the new album and writing a review of. Holy shit.
Then he says that he's on the guest list for the band and has a plus one so I guess I'm going to a show. Sometime.
Really wild couple of days here.
Spoiler: I think I kept it vague enough. I don't think their team is on the site but hey, you never know.
Listening the new (& sadly final) Midnight Oil record "Resist". I will miss that band. The new record is excellent!
nice!~
saw them live last week, it was a pretty good show. now I'm just searching out other performances while I wait for the new album in a month.
Saw 1 of my favorite bands last night, Drive-by Truckers. Probably wasn't a smart move to go as I'm hurting bad today but I finally saw DBT (after many years & shows) do this song live. It was stunning. Such a great song. Unfortunately it has become sort of a theme song for me the past year. The video isn't from last night but is recent & a good video. I see angels in the trees.....
This pleasant little surprise just came on my station playlist on prime, and really hit the spot.
Tears For Fears have a new album, out tomorrow.
The new Birthday Massacre is fun. Supposed to see them again this Sunday!
I don't really listen to this sorta chuggy spooky industrial music anymore, but this song is bad ass

The new Tears for Fears album is shockingly good.
Probably my favorite collaboration Lanegan's been involved in recent times:
The new release Trentemøller. Will see him with live band next Friday.
