NTAE, on the car stereo, LOUD. The women in my life and home do not appreciate LOUD music, or just listening to music as an activity unto itself for that matter.
Prepping to see them live for the first time in the next few weeks, and I cannot wait. It's been a while since I gave them some serious listens, so I figured a refresher was in order, and, wow -- the first two are better than I remember them even being. I think 3 is excellent as well and can't wait to hear this shit in person.
Secret Chiefs 3 - Book of Souls: Folio A
A great display of the various heads of Trey Spruance's musical hydra. Ishraqiyun remains my favorite incarnation of the band.
I loveeeeeeeeee this fucking song
Always be one of my fave alt rock/goth bands of the 80's.
I always forget how interesting these guys could be.
Another great act I'll never get to see.
Feeling a trippy 60's acid vibe, going between The Doors and Cream this morning.
God damn this album is good.
keeping the doom and gloom alive from the week with the weekend.
so much Bohren & Der Club Of Gore
Colma is an amazing album, I've never looked into Buckethead's discography until about a week ago. Really great intro to his work this was!
mother love bone: on earth as it is
these guys are/were a great band, such a shame it ended too soon

Endlessly @Ryan
Been getting obsessed with Burial lately.
the only thing that makes me feel sane right now is pissed off protest punk from back when punk was punk.
such a brilliant song, stomping on rock tropes and delivering a verse catchier than the chorus
And yeah, for the next few days or so, I wanna be sedated. Un/fortunately, I'll be working.
I'm listening to this, because it seems really appropriate today (MLK):
