I've been listening to this local group called Downlows. and they just released this trippy, seizure inducing lyric video. fun stuff!
This band is so damn good in that psychedelic Black Sabbath kind of way:
Anybody else here listen to these guys? Also, with the effects on his voice and everything, does his voice remind anyone else of the voice of Starscream from the 80s Transformers cartoon?
i checked them out and i had a hard time getting past the lo-fi production sound. i understand what they're going for but i'd like at least a LITTLE more clarity in their recordings. i find things like that too distracting so i have trouble focusing on the actual music. i'm sure i'd enjoy them more live.
and yes, i totally thought the exact same thing about starscream haha
I just can't get enough of Kyuss.
Basically the best part of New Slaves for 5 1/2 minutes. Takes my breath away.
I adore this music video. No clue why people hate it. It's so creative. Especially the grotesque" part with the eye being pried open amongst blood.
gotta double dip so that somebody hears this
really, really into R.E.M. so for the past few days i've had their albums on shuffle!
I have been on an R.E.M. kick for the past six months, I love this song and have always been a fan of Peter Buck's guitar playing.
thats an awesome track, but i can't pick my fave, but at a push, "near wild heaven" i think it was the first track of theirs i heard when they released it way back in '91,
i've been a fan since then, but just beginning to love them so much lately

This totally came out of nowhere on my news feed and definitely not was I was expecting.
So far its pretty amazing.
Perturbator just released The Uncanny Valley early to avoid leaks and it has a name your own price on bandcamp.
I highly recommend checking them out.

Incredible [somewhat] new podcast from Jeordie White & Fred Sablan: Hour of Goon
The Eric Avery episode is awesome!
I liked a few tracks off his previous releases but was never completely sold. This album, however, I'm really really digging.
new Radiohead, obviously.
