no zeppelin talk out of you. You think the record that contains my favorite song of all time, actually THE GREATEST SINGLE MUSICAL COMPOSITION of all time, Achilles Last Stand, sucks!

Been on an audiobook kick lately. Listening now:

    Recently finished:

Both fantastic. Hard to find any good ones with an actual cast or at least a collection of narrators like these, though. I can't sit and listen to the same voice for hours on end.

oh my dear lord, that set list.

you realize for me that it's...there aren't words fot it. it's like it isn't real.

    was it amazing?

i did at least get this...
    the Page and Plant thing.
it was incredible for me-the closest i could ever get.

it was a LOT of fun, and one thing that isn't reflected in that set list is that they played bits and pieces of songs all through it, teasing the crowd and what not.

Chelsea Wolfe - Abyss (marry me)

Been listening to a load of Prince stuff I've not touched in a long time, among them The Scandalous Sex Suite. This is classic Prince. It's basically a 20 odd min version of "Scandalous" from the Batman album. The first part is classic creepy sex Prince with voiceovers of him seducing Kim Basinger, the second part has Prince taking multi tracked vocals to a new level and the 3rd part has a nice dark and very Prince like guitar solo and further guitar wanking.
    Fucking brilliant.

Still so hot. The video too...for some reason I find the end of it really heartbreaking.

I believe In My Time Of Dying is Led Zeppelins' greatest song ever! Hell I think its the best song ever recorded. By far my favorite Led Zeppelin song ever.

This video is really great. Shia LaBeouf get a lot of shit lately (and maybe rightfully so), but he definitely isn't a bad actor. Also he is fucking jacked

Haha sorry I was having a bit of a joke at your expense, sorry.

True story tho, those lads and some others in another hardcore band called Fighting Shit used to come to the UK play in my home town, which is a little market town in the middle of nowhere but we had this bizarrely strong punk and hardcore scene. The lad who played drums in Fighting Shit got into creating orchestral type scores and ended up moving purely in that direction. His name is Olafur Arnalds. If you're not already familiar with him, you need to be.
