got totally hooked on Paradise Lost. I saw them at a festival a couple of weeks back and really liked some of their songs and the stage presence. I'm not too big of a fan of their newer output I have to say but really like their more grungy-side.
Which albums shall I focus on apart from "believe in nothing"? It's funny, since this seems to be regarded as their literally "lost" phase where they did not know where to go musically.
I love that whole atmosphere. The way the video is shot and the whole end of the 90ies vibe I get from the guitar sound. For some reason it depresses me a bit which is sad since I relly enjoy this.

I have been on an insane Oingo Boingo kick for the last month and for the life of me cannot stop. Having been born in '82, and my first concert having been '99, Boingo is quickly occupying the number one spot for "artists I wish I'd seen live for whom I never so much as really had a chance".
This score is absolutely sensational. I can't get enough of it at the moment
My Fucking Sound is fucking brilliant. And so is this whole album.
^ yes yes... all day this! Sublime.
Me? These:
OOoooooooooh, @botley , are those the new ones? i'm salivating

The music is definitely something i could get into on a regular basis-it's got a nice post-punk garage vibe to it and i love the big noise you make with yer telecaster.
And the video looks great, man! You guys LOOK like rock stars!
Put me on the guest list when you come through texas?
Recent thread bump ushered this, love this album. One of their best.
my very favorite Rhett Miller song (he's the lead singer of the Old 97s who are DAMN NEAR my favorite band)
it's such a trip. parallel to this being a big deal for people who buying this in 1980 when i was being born, hearing this stuff gives me this bittersweet wist for the way things were when i was discovering zeppelin in the early 90's when i was 13 or 14.
I have a feeling the emotional experience is the same
Sorry for double post, but @botley
This one is SOOOOO awesome.
On the other hand, i can't even tell the difference between Two Ones Are Won and Achilles, and it's my favorite zeppelin song!
What are some stand out tracks? I'm just now checking this all out.
Joining the Zeppelin craze...
"10 Ribs and All/Carrot Pod Pod (Pod)" is awesome
