I guess alot could have changed from February to now though...a la Adrian Belew '14. I really hope Ilan is still the drummer, not to take anything away from Castillo who is an absolute monster also. I just don't handle change well.
the majority of the series was filmed a while back (some of it in 2015, some of it last year) so i'm guessing it was just a matter of ilan being unavailable for the shoot. has no bearing on the upcoming shows.

The lineup has been shared by NIN's official social media channels, Ilan is playing drums. Probably just a scheduling conflict.

Reminds me of the intro to their Woodstock 94 performance.

Is it weird that seeing the visual for Gone Away on the show has legitimized the EP for me and suddenly the record feels important. There's a weight to the songs now that I can attach the themes of Twin Peaks to the listening experience.

I'm waiting for the winter to binge-watch the new Twin Peaks, but not actually knowing anything about the new series, that look suits the show perfectly. Dunno if it's meant to be "humoristic" at all, but the style is just dead on for a band I'd expect to see playing in the Twin Peaks universe.

Something that struck me as odd: in that full cast list from last year, Atticus, Alessandro and Joey aren't mentioned.

I highly doubt it, but maybe there's more with just the three of them (TR, MM, and RF).

    that sounds dirty
@witte i don't know if you've been watching this season of the show but each band that has performed at the roadhouse has done so in a way that's authentic to their sound/style while also fitting into the world of the show.

This was most likely filmed over a year ago (the cast list was released in April 2016 listing TR, Q, and RF, filming wrapped around that time), so it was probably more of scheduling issue with Ilan.

Yeah, considering there are people on the show who passed away almost two years ago, they've probably been filming this thing forever and had to get who they could get when they could get them.

Slightly disappointed it wasn't an actual live performance, but I loved it nonetheless.

as far as i can tell, none of them (the "live" band bits on this season of the show) have been true live performances, more like performance music videos.

I just watched this and.... my clothes just came off. I love this new look. All black and in leather jackets w/ sunglasses. This makes them even more dangerous. THE NINE INCH NAILS. I like that or in the broken language, THE NAILS W/ NINE INCHES.

It's basically The Hand That Feeds Music Video PT2

And I am okay with that, this is also much cooler than that, imho. Can we consider this as an official music video, pls?
