i have really bad peripheral vision on my left side so it's extremely difficult for me to do things on that side of my face, but especially if i tilt my head upward, so i always have to have someone check the line of my beard because i can barely see it.

i think it's something that developed over time, though, because i used to be great at putting on eyeliner in high school (though my oily skin would turn me into a raccoon in no time).

Yeah, I was enough of a rebel to tag, paint and "sew" actual nine inch nails to my jeans, but not enough to fully commit to the whole goth look, I was more on the punk side I guess. Although that's something a girl recommended once, but I just can't imagine how my friends and family would have reacted. Plus with my self-esteem issues back then, being called a fag in 1995 in a little french town ? I'd have ended up even more isolated than I already felt I was, I wasn't brave enough to handle that.

<3 I've found the secret to having a strong eyeliner game is just not giving a shit about symmetry/accepting that it will smear and be terrible. Also a pot + brush instead of a wand/pencil.
