I really miss the days when this series was just a martial-arts themed high fantasy setting with mild gothic horror influences and not a full-blown multiverse z-grade scifi comic book movie clusterfuck.

Gameplay's a lot of fun though, and the stages and music are the best they've been since Armageddon, easily.

MK Trilogy on PS1 was one of my all time favs. I never could get into the games after that. I'll try this one too, but it looks like it plays very similar to the last one, which I wasn't crazy for.

I could care less about the storylines. I'm used to just a screen with some text to explain the stories in the first three games

nearly endless juggle combos are a drag. Sure, they stop doing damage after a while, and you can break them, but it's just ridiculous that it's even possible, and it needs to be patched.

Also, Rain is the Mintberry Crunch of this game. Everyone else has these powers over fire and lasers and blades and general weaponry, and he splashes you.

I need to finish the story mode (at 50%) but overall not feeling this game much like I did when MK11 was the new one.

Miss the magic and excitement playing like I had in MKX. I played that shit for nearly a year and a half straight.
