oh how i miss it, @somethingelse . there was a pretty big wave of it in the dallas area, 2000 to about 2003, and one of my best friends sold those types of vacations...2 or 3 thousand a week. So for the homies, it was CHEAP.
So it was...JESUS i can't even describe it. Lots of rave parties and drum and bass, and my whole clique just fucking LOOOOOOVED each other, lol.

I did more coke last night and this morning than I have done in my entire life combined... Which, admittedly wasn't much, as I've never been a huge fan. But it was my birthday.

This is as good a place to say it as any... I'm not someone who does club drugs anymore, but listening to kids in their 20s talk about how "molly" is "pure and uncut MDMA", while "ecstasy is gross and cut with all sorts of stuff that's bad for you" is fucking lame.

Kids, you're taking ecstasy. It came in capsule format back when you were too young to know what drugs were. Now, they use this arbitrary distinction to clarify between capsules and printed pills. Actually, way back here in reality, you could check up on printed pills easier than capsules. The capsule is full of white powder. The pill has a picture of Papa Smurf dancing on it. You can use various resources to look up the Papa surf pill and find out what's in it. That capsule of white powder? Who knows.

So yeah, back in the day, dealers used to say "this is a pure, see, it's in a capsule," then maybe they realized they needed a better marketing term, so they called it "molly." It was no less or more pure then. You don't know what the powder in the capsule is. It's likely a cocktail. If you trust some guy you met at a rave telling you it's pure, you're a joke. Most of this shit is cut with other drugs.

I would hate to be into that stuff today. It's filled with shitty research chemicals. There was actually a great documentary released recently where the went around the country testing people's "pure" shit at festivals. The majority was filled with bath salts.

That was the only place i ever got it, and HE got it from the manufacturer, who always tested it in front of us.

I would never buy some random tab...i worried about "2 parts ketamine 3 parts DXM 8 parts bathtub speed" type experiences.
Once i couldn't be sure what i was getting, i was done.

So few of the tabs were pure and so many didn't have any MDMA or even MDA at all.
