A friend of mine gave me a bottle of Patron Orange liquer as a belated Xmas gift. I think that should mix well with my Don Ramon tequila straight from Mexico. I'm assuming you just can't drink the liquer straight. I had a shot and it was too sweet and syrupy.

I'm not super familiar with tequilas but IIRC Don Ramon is best to just pour in a glass with a couple of ice cubes and sip on it, no shots.

Got myself a nice bottle of THE END OF THE WORLD for tonight.
It's pretty good, but for a $9 beer I expected a bit better. Can't really say anything bad about it though.

For tonight I've picked up another beer by the same company, "Trois Pistoles", and it's god damn amazing.

it seems very difficult to find cocktails that aren't either too weak or so strong i don't enjoy drinking it (and i like my drinks strong) so most the time i don't even bother with them and just stick to beer/wine/cider. especially in areas where things are overpriced anyway.
