Maybe setlist fm is wrong, but it shows Bon Jovi only did 4 songs last year.

Hmmmmmm ...Janet Jackson and Radiohead, two of this year’s seven Rock Hall inductees, didn’t have a performance segment during their respective inductions. To be clear, this meant they eschewed performing themselves, and there was nobody — such as a peer or collaborator — who performed in their place
Only two Radiohead members bothered showing up, guitarist Ed O’Brien and drummer Phil Selway, although they were effusive in their gratitude for receiving the honor. (Unlike the other three chaps in the band.)As for Jackson, her rationale was reportedly drastically different. Despite showing up for the ceremony and giving one of the best speeches of the evening — and soon embarking on a Las Vegas residency — she opted not to perform because of the Rock Hall’s network affiliation. In a month’s time, the induction will air on HBO, which is the same network that aired the controversial Michael Jackson sex-abuse documentary, Leaving Neverland.

I don't know if they induct sidemen or producers anymore but Brian Eno definitely merits an induction on his own.
HUH? I am a lifelong Roxy Music fan, but I could provide an essay argument as to why Eno should have been inducted BEFORE Roxy Music. His work is hugely influential in music. All kinds of music. (One of my favorite albums of all time is Eno's "Ambient 1: Music for Airports" [1978])

@Cat Mom third uncle is literally one of my favorite songs ever. i feel like the mark of a truly good song is when anyone can cover it and it will still be amazing (Bauhaus' cover introduced me to the song, i saw Built To Spill do it live).
Watching tonight, I can’t watch Stevie without remembering 1975, my subscription to Creem Magazine, and Stevie was a Creem Dreem of the month (AND I HAD THOSE SHOES!!!!)
The HBO telecast did NOT include Roxy Music's performance of "In Every Dream Home, a Heartache." Perhaps because it's a big fave mostly to us hardcore Roxy fans. I'm bummed that HBO didn't include it. (We've seen Roxy Music AND Bryan Ferry solo do it live.)
LOVED the ending, though, the typical HoF annual All Star Jam, then when IAN HUNTER showed up I knew it was gonna be Mott the Hoople's version of All the Young Dudes!!!!
I imagine the cut performances will wind up on a Blu-ray or on YouTube in pro quality down the line. I'm not surprised HBO did this.
Wait, A Forest and In Every Dream Home, a Heartache were played...well fuck, i love both those songs!
It's really weird that they cut that song from Roxy, being that it was the first song of their set. I haven't seen the HBO broadcast yet, but it just seems like from an editing standpoint it would make more sense to not start already in mid-performance lol. I don't know much at all from them, but I liked the first two songs the best. I was also immediately taken aback by how completely evident Duran Duran was influenced by them lol. I'll have to dig into their stuff a bit more.
Not sure if already posted but...
blocked in the US. WTH.
NIN is on this year's list of nominees. I don't think the official fan vote site is up yet. My ballot will be The Doobie Brothers, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Todd Rundgren and Thin Lizzy.
Looks like it's been updated >> Vote
Is it just me, because I don't see a "submit" button. Just a "Switch account to vote" button even though I'm logged into Google.
NIN, DM, Kraftwerk and Soundgarden got my votes.
^^^ same. I added Pat Benatar
So I just voted for NIN, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and Soundgarden
But Dave Matthews Band really?????? Don't they let themselves down on both the innovative and some kind of international appeal sense???
