$30 wasn't as bad as the $15 shipping charge. So $45 total for a magazine.

LGR wearing a PHM shirt... I know he's fan (how long, no idea), he's made reference to them many times over the years.
His brother is also sporting a Spring US 2022 tour shirt....
Pretty Eight Machine also makes a cameo...

Agreed. One reason I don't like my TDS shirt with the tracklisting on the back, cause Big Man With A Gun hasn't aged well.

These Ghosts shirts are cool, but unfortunately those are exclusive to the physical stores, while the TDS and FDTS ones are available online, though they're expensive.

I shelled out for the Marvin magazine spread, (I’m a sucker for holding the physical thing in my hands, whatever), and it wasn’t a particularly long or illuminating interview, but this one little bit towards the end was titillating.

(Hope the photo comes through okay)

St. Vincent is in my top 5 artists I want NIN to collab with. I could also live with a 'Love This Giant' with Reznor and Ross tossed in.

According to weird people on tumblr they airbrushed out an ear piercing in the Marvin cover. Truly a loss everywhere for middle aged guys with pierced ears I guess

I swear they are using the beginning of Perfect Drug as a music bed on the Seattle Mariners TV broadcast. Or more likely someone "borrowing" the beginning of Perfect Drug.....

I just checked out that Gravity Kills song and it was alright, but man, am I glad they went with Closer (Precursor). That whole opening sequence is so amazing and the song suits it so well that it feels tailor-made for it. I'd like to see more directors make movies with flashy opening credit sequences like Fincher often does (Se7en, Fight Club, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo). The James Bond movies have been keeping it alive, but I think that's due more to franchise tradition. Many of the Pixar movies (Monsters, Inc. is a perfect example) have some pretty Saul Bass-inspired title sequences.

That's kind of amusing... earlier in the summer a local shop had a sealed CD copy of The Fragile I picked up and asked if I had the blu-ray... I said I did but they gave me a sealed copy anyways, they had lots.

Very random spotting, NIN/TR was referenced on Kevin Smith's podcast Fatman Beyond although this is a special episode of Blackman Beyond because Kevin is away so it's Marc Bernardin and a guest.

    Timestamp: 1:17:09

Context: Someone in the audience asked who they would want to do the theme and soundtrack for the MCU Blade movie.

haha, TR taught RP how to shave. That's so nice.

“Trent and I go back,” says Patrick. “I had a project in high school and I came over to his apartment one night and he was getting ready to leave. He was shaving and looked over at me and asked, ‘Do you know how to shave?’ And then he basically taught me how to shave.

“That’s how brotherly we were back in the day. We had all these great times on tour with Nine Inch Nails. And literally saw it start to take off. Shows were getting bigger. Crowds were getting more insane. We started playing bigger venues. We started in a van and then we ended up in a bus. To be there with Trent during those times was amazing. And you know, I miss those days.”
