I just hope I'm not the only person so appreciative that From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea is getting so much play. That song is just flawless Smith magic IMHO.

Fuckin' DEAD OVER HERE THANK YOU SO MUCH ROBERT
Fuckin' YES to ALL OF THIS.
If they play Anniversary in Montreal the people in my vicinity will move away from me in fear as I flip out.
I'm glad he's dusting that album off. I was starting to fear its contents were consigned to the dustbin.

*please play "Funeral Party"*
Where do we start bowing down aka sending donations to? lol Seriously I've never in any forum come across Wish demos in all these years. The weird part is I've never found Bloodflowers to be such an amazing album, but something has clicked in the last two weeks and the songs I found great 10 years ago that I'm not interested in and now the ones I thought were throw aways I'm obsessed with. How does a band do that?

Happy to help!
They're streaming the Sasquatch festival but I don't think The Cure are part of the stream.
Also, some bands are cancelling due to high winds.
You rock Ryan for posting these set lists.
Apparently they have to change stages now. Maybe the show will be scaled down and we'll get more rarities, here's hoping.

Like Cockatoos? *faints*
Show was of course amazing. No 'A Letter To Elise' which was kind of a bummer, but 'Pictures of You' which is my all-time fav song (and holds a special place in the hearts of me and my wife for personal reasons). A few notes:
- Venue is in the middle of a giant park outdoors surrounded by tall trees but, in the middle of a city, there's a noise curfew at 10pm sharp...so the band started almost immediately after 7pm. But, being almost June...it wasn't dark until about 9:15. Robert: "I'm not used to being in so much light when I do this. But I kinda like what you've got here...it's like I'm singing to myself in my backyard or something."
- Simon's bass on 'Disintegration' was shaking the earth...it was so sick.
I could go on forever....8 years later, but well worth the wait.
12 years I've been waiting. It is starting to kill me to know it is so close!!!! Friday is my favorite song but it looks like it isn't getting played very frequently. All the other goodies in the set list make up for that though. I hope you're right about Simon's bass being loud. I've always thought The Cure have the greatest bass lines.
tomorrow night! just heard that it's been sold out for months.

If anyone's interested, the person we were standing next to at the Vancouver show was filming practically the entire show...I'll let y'all know if I can get my hands on more.

That might be the best setlist this entire tour out of a series of stand-out setlists, wow. If Disintegration was in that mix it'd be perfection to me.
The lyrics to Like Cockatoos are so obscure.
What will happen if they pull out "All Cats are Grey" and "Funeral Party"?

Robert: "This is a weird start to the set - even for me."

The weirder and more unpredictable, the better.
I'd love The Blood.
Uh, why is this thread rated down to 3 stars?
