Another solicitation for the Rhode Island College show: https://digitalcommons.ric.edu/cgi/v...ext=whats_news

Someone provided a venue name for the 1990 Jacksonville, FL show: Kahootz

I asked how he knew the venue name, but it's only been a couple hours, so he hasn't responded. Looking at his concert history, though, he seems to be a Florida native, so he may have attended the show. I did a little searching, but couldn't find anything on the Internet linking Nine Inch Nails to "Kahootz". Maybe you might have more success searching newspapers, now that you know the venue name.

I did find some corroborating information about "Kahootz" existing. There is a trademark registration for it here. And the mark was owned by Crown Leisure Corp. which I found owned at least a couple other nightclubs in FL in the late 80's/early 90's.

I think my friends may have opened that Jacksonville show. They were an all girl band named the Aquanettas. For a lazy comparison they were a bit like the Bangles. I know they opened for NIN in Florida around this time. Definitely not a good fit for a NIN crowd, haha. My friends said it was like Children of the Corn, haha.

Nice! That guy came back to the setlist.fm comments and provided his bona fides for the show. I asked him if we could get a scan of the ticket stub and photos from his friend. Here's hoping!
