Heard something about that. Fenix to 205 most likely. Penta will do great in NXT then die off when Vince gets a hold of him like everyone else.

Tomasso Ciampa vs Johnny Gargano vs Adam Cole
Great shit.
Renee Young is now replacing Coach, full time. Good call.
Re: The Bellas - A few things. The tag team match against the Riott Squad was fine and WWE did their normal thing of blowing it up for their returning talent and using that match to promote the return of Total Divas (if you missed it, watch poor JoJo have to cram in several mouthfuls during their introduction). Fine. Whatever. I'm confused though because we now *kinda* signified the brand split with Nikki on Raw last night and Brie facing Maryse tonight on Smackdown... even though Brie was still ringside for Nikki. Here's what's weird for me - we had Riott Squad taking on Sasha and Bayley and now we've just dropped it so the Riott Squad can do the favors for the Bellas.
1. Teaming Nikki up with Sasha and Bayley would make sense past HIAC, especially since the story seems to favor that direction. HOWEVER -
2. We're now heading into Evolution post-SSD and essentially have seven weeks to transition to Ronda Rousey getting involved with this story to team with the Bellas AT SSD, and THEN build up to the rumored match between Ronda and Nikki.
It's a lot.
Its poorly done and shoehorns two of the most boring women to the forefront over other deserving women as they did with Ronda Rousey.
Here’s to hoping that Alexa gives a decent show in her next defeat to Rouseu his Sunday. I’ll watch it if power is around thanks to the fucking hurricane coming in.
A match card for Evolution leaked. Not sure legit if not but if it is I will be sorely disappointed and have very little to defend in regards to it. There’s maybe like 4 matches I’d give a shit about and that’s it. The card illustrates what a once huge potential dream PPV could’ve and should’ve been but it was swapped for purely PR and grand standing. It’s awful.

DREAM MATCH: Rob Van Dam versus Kevin Owens
HIAC Predictions -
Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse - I feel like Bryan is due a win here since Miz got the win at Summerslam, thus setting up for a BIG showdown at Survivor Series. I know they have a #1 contender's match at Super Showdown, but I can almost see that ending in a no-decision, thus pushing this into Survivor Series.
Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton - I mean, we all know Jeff is doing a Swanton Bomb off the top of the cell, right? He's gonna hit one and miss Randy who then rolls him into the ring for the win. Orton goes on to enter the WWE title picture.
New Day vs. Rusev Day - Dark horse match - I'm calling this one for Rusev Day.
Dolph & Drew vs. Seth & Dean - Dolph & Drew retain after some shenanigans.
Becky vs. Charlotte - I gotta go with Becky on this one and a potential double turn... if they're being smart about it. This has Austin vs. Bret at WM13 written all over it and I hope it's just as brilliant.
Ronda vs. Alexa - Alexa works the ribs, and then Ronda works Alexa and gets a clean win. Done.
AJ vs. Samoa Joe - AJ goes too far and loses focus allowing Joe to capitalize and win the title. AJ beings searching for redemption until a Viper comes a-knockin'...
Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman - Heh, this is gonna turn into a Shield vs. Dogs of War situation real quick. Roman will win with a little help from his friends which will keep Braun protected.
^ with you on the pics. My big question is who will be the face to chase Joe?
Also - good fanpost over at cageside seats questioning the current state of the industry regarding (strong) style and work rate.
Roman wins lol. Foley is guest ref. So he'll have something to do with it.
AJ over Joe.
New Day over Rusev Day
Charlotte and Becky go no contest. Probably double count out.
Ronda retains
Orton over Hardy. Hardy is going to do something crazy.
Miz/Maryse over Bryan/Brie.
Dolph and Drew retain.
With as much talent as they have, and an increase of awareness of the risk of brain trauma associated with the business, they should really consider running talent in shifts or seasons. I don't think it would be impossible, and since talent are technically independent contractors, they could do a less intense indy schedule while they're not on WWE programming.
That Orton/Hardy gross out moment was probably one of the sickest things I've seen on WWE in a while.
Orton twisting Hardys ear with a screwdriver... Yeah, it was weird...
Randy’s deep puncture wound on his leg was somehow grosser than the ear lobe twisting.
I'm suggesting more like a significant talent turnover. Let some of the upper tier/midcard guys and gals take some time off, thus allowing for a natural vacancy on the card. Champs are still on the house show circuit, because they will draw, but then once they lose, they're at the "back of the line" and written off TV (if, of course, they lose the mandatory rematch. If those upper level talent still want to get some work in during their downtime, they could work shows with NXT or WWE friendly promotions like Evolve or Progress.
Decent show until the end. Wtf was that?
Also because I loved it and made a gif of it since I had to.
What the hell is that on the top right? The bloody thing next to the gauze.
They've been doing it more often lately. Sasha and Bayley have been working live events but staying off of TV for the time being, which gives them a little bit of rest, Nia Jax has been out rehabbing a leg injury since July, Asuka was off of the scene for a bit until post-Summerslam, The Bar took a LOT of time off before making a return recently, Matt and Bray have been working more live events instead of TV (which has resulted in Matt deciding to retire from the sound of it), etc.
Triple H gave a quote a while ago about overexposing talent and it hurting their overall value in the long run, and I think he tipped his hand a little in showing how WWE is moving things forward in order to avoid the injury bug. WM32 was almost a disaster because talent were dropping like flies (Rollins, Cena, Cesaro, Bryan etc. were out and the card had to be majorly readjusted just to put on the show). I think that when we someone taken off of TV but still working live events here and there, they're either being protected for later storylines or are taking time off for rest, hence why they usually scoff at the idea of an offseason after WM or Summerslam.
I am, however, super thankful that Jeff just did a table spot from about 10-12 feet in the air instead of doing a Swanton off of the cell as I had predicted. The man has given a lot, and that would've been too much if he had done the latter, and based on the story they told with the screwdriver and ear lobe, it was just as effective, if not more, without putting either man in risk of serious injury just for a spot.
