And the rest of that movie has gone enough casting and pacing, and ultimately in retrospect is kind of perfect for what it is. It wins on embracing it's campiness. Will this take a similar approach.

I was reading up about the film again and I thought the same thing. My initial reaction was like "Really... Cole." So I'm hoping the branding he has on his bod is an indication of him being important instead of just some dude.
